Deze ambachtsman uit 1900 is adembenemend! 2 bedden boven en 1 beneden. Luxe master suite op de eerste verdieping toegevoegd in november 2017! Ruime woonkamer opent naar grote woonkeuken. Gelegen in een gemengd inkomen, diverse wijk in de buurt van Duke's East Campus, 9e st., Monuts en meer!
De ruimte:
Geweldige historische ambachtsman 1. 5 blokken van Duke's East Campus. Luxe master suite op de eerste verdieping toegevoegd in november 2017! Deze aanbieding is voor de voorkant van een huis met twee units. Kom en verblijf in Durham's Historic Walltown - dichtbij Monuts Donuts, Whole Foods, Daines, Juju Asian Tapas, Chubbys, Watts Grocery, Harris Teeter, Dales Indian Cuisine, The Federal en meer!
Gasttoegang:
Je verblijft in het hoofdgebouw van 1400 vierkante voet. Dit omvat een grote woonkeuken open voor een grote woonkamer met geweldige historische details en een 40-inch flatscreen-tv. Er is ook een master op de eerste verdieping met een SUPER comfortabele Simmons King-size matras in zachte eurestijl. Boven is er een ruime badkamer, een wasmachine droger en twee slaapkamers met full-size bedden met pillow-top. U zult exclusief gebruik maken van de grote overdekte veranda, terwijl de achterunit gebruik kan maken van de achterporch. Om de gasten in beide eenheden te respecteren, vragen we gasten om na 21.00 uur relatief rustig te zijn.
Interactie met gasten:
U kunt inchecken via een digitaal toetsenbord, zodat u op elk moment na 3:00 uur aankomt, maar we zijn slechts een kort bericht verwijderd voor aanbevelingen voor eten, bier, museum en theater! We houden van Durham en willen dat je alles ziet wat het te bieden heeft, terwijl je hier bent!
De buurt:
Historisch Walltown is een diverse, gemengde inkomensstedelijke buurt. Het huis ligt 1,5 km van het wandelpad Duke East Campus.
Vervoer rond:
We houden ervan om van het huis naar Monuts, 9th Street, enz. Te lopen. Het is een korte trip naar alle mooiste bars, restaurants en attracties van Durham. Ook gemakkelijke toegang tot de Bull city-aansluiting en de buslijnen van Duke en Durham. Zoals in elke stad nodig is, moedigen we onze gasten aan om streetwise te zijn. Als u zich om welke reden dan ook niet op uw gemak voelt, is uber een snelle, veilige en goedkope manier om u te verplaatsen!

House was very clean (and more importantly it didn't smell like cleaning products!). Location was great - easy to get around town. We had zero issues getting into the house or parking. The street was quiet. We enjoyed the front porch street swing in the mornings while drinking our coffee from Joe Van Goughs.

Very cute property with a lot of great charm. Towels were provided in each of the bedrooms, and we had everything there that we needed for the weekend. My group loved the living room, kitchen, and downstairs bedroom/bathrooms. However, the upstairs bedrooms were not quite as nice. The beds were okay, but the floors creaked so loud that they could be heard by every other guest in the other rooms. The upstairs AC window unit was beyond rattly. I slept with earplugs not just because of that, but because of the drag racing that occurred half a block down the street every night of our Thurs-Sun stay between midnight and 2am (not something the owners can help, of course, but something to be aware of). Although the whole house was very tidy, my housemates discovered several roaches in the few days we were there.I'd certainly recommend this house, especially if you just plan to use the downstairs bedroom. If you don't need to turn on the upstairs window AC, I'm sure it would be much quieter. Hopefully the drag racing doesn't happen every single night. Overall it was still a very good stay.

Really convenient location for event at Duke. Close to groceries and restaurants. Older charming home, and well cleaned. Good stay at this price point. The owner sent a lengthy message prior to check in with the details.The toilet/bath area for the master has a smoked glass door, so be aware if you are staying with multiple people and privacy is a concern. There is another bath with a regular door right outside the master, so that helped. And a nice bathroom upstairs as well.The upstairs is cooled with a portable AC unit, and it was quite warm when we arrived late at night. Not sure I’d want to sleep up there in summer. The unit could use a few more towels and silverware/dishes. The water pressure for showers was a bit weak, but the temperature was good and there seemed to be enough hot water. Would love to see some sort of curtain over the glass by the front door. Felt a bit exposed at night. Overall, a fine stay. Thank you.

Wonderful home right off Duke's East Campus. Immaculate bathrooms, very nice hard-wood floors, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. Easy walk to Duke and 9th Street shops/restaurants. Dylan was responsive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

I did not spend much time at the house due to other business in Durham but it was in a nice neighborhood near Duke West Campus and Ninth Street, and I enjoyed the porch with a swing, the big kitchen and the bathroom attached to the master bedroom. The house is on the older side and smelled vaguely of marijuana when I arrived, which wasn't a big deal, but the king bed in the master bedroom definitely needs some attention. It sagged a lot in the middle and was actually tilted down toward the headboard. Otherwise, the house worked well for this visit, and communication with Dylan was good.

Home was convenient to Duke Hospital. Businesses are within walking distance. Checkin was easy. Driveway off street was nice for unloading. Home is as pictured. Bed and bedding was very clean and comfortable. Master on suite bath was wonderful! We utilized the front porch everyday, it is set up beautifully and has a selection of seating areas.

The house is older and really cute inside. The downstairs bedroom / bathrooms were updated. We didn’t cook, but fridge worked great. Ice trays were helpful and we appreciated having coffee grounds and filters available. Linens were clean and plenty. Sheets and bedding were comfy. The only thing I didn’t care for was the window unit and spot cooler upstairs. They worked, but were loud and the cooler kept cycling and waking me up. I ended up moving downstairs the 2nd night and was very comfortable. Check-in/out was simple.

Charming and Comfortable Stay!

My partner and I chose this property to host a small dinner with friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The hosts were incredibly attentive, quick to respond, and kind. The space was clean and comfortable, perfect for the 6 guest limit. Though we only stayed one night, we think that this home would be great for a longer stay. The proximity to Durham landmarks and activities was very convenient, and the hosts did a wonderful job sending recommendations. Loved this place!

House is nice with up to date appliances. Kitchen, Bathrooms and living room were all great. Master bedroom was good other bedrooms - we thought there were queen beds so it was tight.Also it seemed there there was something under the floor of the master bedroom and there were ants in the extra bath on the first floor. Maybe due to temperature change????

Quiet get away

We arrived an he early had no issue with check in host provided a huge list of things to do and know for area. We ended up renting the back space too since my 74 yr old mom decided to come along for Christmas visit. Door dashed some Christmas lights Butler is around the corner from house. The house is older and has some uniqueness too it. The tile floors and updated bathrooms were nice. The gas stove was a nice change to the other Vrbo we have stayed at. Overall very nice location the neighbor is friendly as well since it has semi shared driveway
