With an open floor plan, 2 bedrooms and one bath it’s small footprint feels large. Enjoy waking to restaurants and bars, or to NC State campus! Stay a while and enjoy relaxing on the front porch, entertaining in the open kitchen dining space or work from home at the desk area. Quaint and quiet, and pet friendly you won’t want to leave. Minutes to downtown and RDU!

The master bedroom has a walk-in closet with dresser and laundry, king bed, tv and ceiling fan. The guest bedroom has a queen bed dresser, closet, tv and ceiling fan. The bungalow is fully updated and bright! The kitchen is stocked for entertaining with a gas stove and open concept with a comfy living room! Enjoy the porch swing and walkable neighborhood to bars, restaurants, coffee shop and bookstore along with conveniences such as target and cvs! Private parking for 3 cars in the back of the house, pet friendly with a $150 pet fee up to 2 pets and free street parking.

The bungalow is adorable inside, charmingly decorated and fully equipped. I was disappointed to learn the bathroom was Jack-and-Jill style with doors to both bedrooms, which limited privacy.

Wonderful bungalow in the heart of Raleigh. I recently stayed here to visit family. The house is located in a prime area for accessing the very best of Raleigh. It was easy to feel right at home as the house is equipped with everything you need. The host was very responsive to my questions and made every effort to make sure my stay was pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Kayaked 5 Lakes in 3 days
My daughter, granddaughter and I have an interesting summer project. We adopt NC lakes and kayak as many as we can during the summer. This cute little bungalow was perfect for the 3 of us over the 4th of July weekend when we kayaked 5 lakes in 3 days, all around the Raleigh area. Each lake was within 15-30 miles from this bungalow. And my little long-haired chihuahua joins us. These accommodations invited her to stay with us. Clean. Quiet. Older little home, beautifully decorated for a simple, modern taste. We loved it here! Pleasant, professional host.

Good location for NCSU Events
Overall we had a good stay. We stayed here to watch one of our kids play baseball at NC State. The house was in a perfect location for that as it was walking distance. It was very convenient that we were able to bring our dogs along for the trip and they enjoyed walking around the area with us. Host was communicated well and check in was easy. We would stay here again for an NC State event as there aren't many hotel options and none within walking distance of the baseball field. The only negatives are the pictures do the house a lot of justice. It's an older house that has been mostly remodeled but could still use some TLC. The shower pressure is bad and water temp cold. All the air returns are loose which is a tripping hazard. I didn't see a smoke detector in the home either. Again we would stay here again but this home still needs a little work.

Another amazing stay!
This was our second time staying at the blue bungalow and we enjoyed it more this time around—easy walking distance to campus and all the amenities Hillsborough street has to offer. The house is adorable and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back again!

Great House Near NC State!
We had a great stay in the Blue Bungalow near NC State. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing, plenty of room for a family or two couples. Well-decorated, cute and comfortable, and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Check-in was easy and the beds were comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!
