'This is a compact and stylish modern apartment with a high standard to its finish. The living area and bedroom combine as one room but there is a separate shower/bathroom and a separate kitchen. 'The lodge was in pristine condition clean tidy and well looked after There was a good selection of kitchen utensils plenty of cutlery and glasses and everything in the kitchen worked a treat. 'We had a wonderful stay in lodge 1. The owner was friendly and helpful. The lodge was beautiful and had all we needed. We didn’t have a car but had friends who picked up up each day we went out. You would need access to transport. We would happily stay again! '

'A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour.'

'We loved the views across Douglas Bay and the location provided easy access to other parts of the Island. We would have appreciated a more consistent WiFi and TV connection as we had to reboot multiple times in the course of an evening but overall this did not detract from our positive experience staying here.'

'Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made.
