"Instead of hopping from hotel to hotel we decided to stay in one hotel and do all the sightseeing from there. Hotel Loa is located very central in the South path. Right on highway. Good breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend. "

"The cottage we had was dated on the inside and gorgeous on the outside. But at the same time had everything we needed so we can still recommend this location. The shower is nice and warm and a lot of windows can open to easily air out the cottage. There is a water cooker, cooking stove, fridge, anything you may need to comfortably spend the night. The location is stunning as the view is amazing and you're in a field where we saw a group of sheep gently walking around. Parking is not a problem for cottages as they each have their own driveway. The communication regarding the self check-in was done very well so we had no problems getting into the cottage after a long day. We had to knock off a star due to the dated interior, our cottage door did not have blinds on the window and several windows were missing a block at the end of the rail when you only want to partially open a window. Please don't let any of this discourage you as you're still in a beautiful place in Iceland and the location is amazing"

"Rustig en afgelegen hotel. Bij aankomst is er niemand, maar geen probleem er ligt een papier met jouw naam op klaar. Zo kan je makkelijk jouw kammer binnen. De kamer niet veel op aan te merken, buiten dat je veel hoort van alles wat op de gang gaande is. Het ontbijt is oke, maar pober. "

"We did not receive an email with check inn details. Staf could not be reached, not by phone and no answer on email. The cottage is outdated and too cold inside. You can feel the wind inside! Good location but ridiculously overpriced and non-exisiting communication. No wifi available. Avoid this place!"
