  • Dit adembenemende huis werd gebouwd in 2012, gelegen in het hart van de Black Hills. Het huis beschikt over 3 slaapkamers, 2 volledige badkamers, 2 woonkamers plus zolder met een open plattegrond. Gasten van Shady Pines worden getrakteerd op een rustieke / moderne inrichting en alle gemakken van thuis. De slaapkamer op het hoogste niveau heeft een queensize bed en het lagere niveau heeft 2 slaapkamers waarvan een met een queensize bed en de andere met een queensize bed.

    De woning heeft een grote afgeschermde dek om te genieten van het landschap van de Black Hills, waaronder een gasgrill, terrasmeubilair en een eigen bubbelbad gelegen naast de slaapkamer op het hoofdniveau op zijn eigen privédek. Er is een tv in de woonkamer, een op de zolder en een in de keuken met satelliet-kabel. Het lagere niveau en de loft hebben een dvd-speler met verschillende filmopties. Ook inbegrepen zijn verschillende opties voor bordspellen en kaarten. De woning is ook uitgerust met WIFI via satelliet-internet. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alle standaardapparatuur.

    Echt de ideale bestemming het hele jaar door, mede door onze nabijheid van zomer- en winteractiviteiten.

We loved this cabin, it made us feel at home! Such a beautiful location and loved the setup of the cabin! Property manager does an amazing job responding promptly to all questions!

Amazing stay in an absolute beautiful area. The cabin was awesome, we only had two couples staying so there was ALOT of room for us. Cabin had everything you need for a week and was very clean upon arrival. My wife loved the jacuzzi and said it was one of the cleanest she has used at a Vrbo. There is a long dirt road that leads to the cabin, but it was in great shape.

Cabin in the woods

Fantastic cabin in the woods off the beaten path. We enjoyed the quietness. The deer would pass by at night and birds would be most active in the morning. The cabin was plenty big enough for the six of us and we would love to come back.

Cabin is very roomy and clean. The location is beautiful. The cabin is remote with no cell phone service. I could text out. Everything was great except for no cell service.

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing time at the ShadyPines cabin. It was the cleanest house we’ve ever rented! The location was perfect for all of the sight seeing - just a short 20-30 minute drive for pretty much anything you wanted to do. The owner was prompt and friendly. We would definitely go back!

Peace and Quiet!

This is a lovely, comfortable cabin in the woods of the Black Hills. There were 7 of us staying for the week and we had plenty of space. We did have a problem initially with the WIFI but the owner resolved it. We loved this cabin and if in the Black Hills area again will definitely consider staying here.

Everything was amazing at the property. One picture indicated a bunk bed that our daughter really wanted to sleep in but there wasn’t a bunk bed upon arrival. Everything else was top notch.

Overall great place / Little Dusty!

There were 4 adults and two kids 5 and 6 who stated here. The kids had a blast and it was nice having the loft for them to keep busy. It was a very clean location. The only down fall i would have is too much gravel! I guess I should have read more about the location. Very dusty gravel road going in and out. around 2-3 miles of it too:( There is a Keurig and crock pot also in the cabin that the listed did not list. Still though a good place to stay just LOTS OF DRY AND DUSTY road!!!

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed a six day, five night stay in Shady Pines. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. We spent our days exploring the tourist attractions the Hills have to offer and the evenings as a family grilling supper, playing games and relaxing in the hot tub at the cabin. As a set of grandparents and a family of four with two children aged 3 and 11, the multi level sleeping areas suited us well. If you are looking for a cabin retreat a little off the beaten path this is your choice, it was about a 35-40 minute drive into Hill City or Keystone after navigating the scenic winding roads. We had an ATV and there were trails close by to enjoy. Very tentative owner who quickly responded to messages. We will be back, hopefully sooner than later!!

Great spot to stay, if wanting to visit the local national parks

Check in process was extremely easy. The house was exceptionally clean. The owner was quick to respond to questions. When we arrived it was quite warm in the house and they quickly installed window units the next day. I would suggest a few extra pillows and blankets since it did get chilly while we were there. Owner gave us very good driving directions from the airport in Rapid City. We visited Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Devils Tower, crazy horse monument, and the Badlands… Everything was about an hour to an hour and a half away in multiple directions. We got to see a lot. The house was very well-equipped, and very serene. The hot tub was a bonus and a great place to enjoy the evening to stargaze from. The fact that it was pet free was very appreciated, and hard to find nowadays… Two of us are highly allergic to cats and dogs, so this was fantastic! Thank you! Highly recommend.
