Noc's Landing bevindt zich op 5 hectare aan de westkant van het Stonington Peninsula in Upper Peninsula in Michigan. De cabine is gelegen aan het noordelijke uiteinde van het 5 hectaren, ongeveer 200 voet van een ander, rustig gelegen vakantiehuis. Deze gedateerde, rustieke, schilderachtige woning heeft een eigen strand, (hoewel er veel onkruid en rotsen zijn), een eenvoudige badkamer, grote ramen in de woonkamer waardoor natuurlijk licht binnenvalt en een terras aan het meer met een prachtig uitzicht op Lake Michigan. Uniek aan deze eigenschap is dat het geboorde put en over het uitzicht op de baai van Escanaba (fenomenaal vuurwerk te bekijken). Vissen van wereldklasse op snoekbaarzen, Smallmouth Bass en Northern Pike. Dit huisje met 2 slaapkamers heeft een wasmachine en droger, vaatwasser, magnetron, tv (ALLEEN dvd's en speler aanwezig, GEEN WiFi, GEEN kabel), vuurplaats (op het privéstrand met rotsen (geen ring), houtskoolgrill, en keukentafel voor uw plezier.

Bugs: JA, er zijn bugs in Michigan, vooral rond het water. Muggen komen het meest voor. Ze zijn vooral zwaar in de schemering.

Huisdieren: Huisdieren zijn welkom! Freshwater Vacation Rentals berekent momenteel $ 50 / huisdier voor uw gehele verblijf. Ja, we accepteren honden, maar we vragen wel of je ze achteraf en binnen in de hut opruimt. Plus, als je ze op het meubilair toestaat, vragen we je om je eigen linnengoed / dekens mee te nemen om op te slapen. Plus, als het haar van huisdieren begint te bouwen, vragen we je om alsjeblieft het vacuüm uit te voeren. Over het algemeen houden honden van het water en plaatsen om te verkennen. Voedsel voor huisdieren heeft de neiging om muizen aan te trekken, dus waakzaamheid is geboden. Katten en andere dieren worden niet thuis verwelkomd vanwege allergieën van de eigenaar.

Terwijl u uitkijkt, zult u zeker stijgende adelaars, prachtige herten en prachtige zonsondergangen vinden. Als u graag een meer avontuurlijke vakantie, paddle-board huren in Escanaba, waarin u kunt peddelen over Little Bay de Noc. Slapen 4 comfortabel in slaapkamers met 2 volledige bedden.

Long weekend near family

Location of the property was beautiful on the lakeshore. Inside of the cottage was clean. Comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed the location, was able to sit on the deck when there was a breeze to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the view. However, I had brought my dog, of course expected to pick up after him—-rather difficult when the grass was very overgrown. The overgrown grass also contributed to the large number of mosquitoes on and around the patio entrance, which was the entrance we had to use. Management tried, but was unable to get someone to cut the grass on the holiday weekend. They were very responsive to that and other minor issues.

My wife and I have never been to this area. We found the house to be excellent and clean. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck with water views, check in process was easy and the mgmt company responded to several questions very very quickly. Grocery shopping at Meijers in Escanaba was a large convenient plus. Ice cream cones for lunch at Garth Gas/Grocery was a treat. Highly recommended

Little slice of UP heaven

It was exactly what we were seeking to get away from the city. The wildlife was so abundant I couldn’t believe it. Every night we could see a few does and fawns in the yard. The sound of the bay was beautiful and the breeze from it was spectacular. Cooking dinner two nights of the stay was something we had never experienced on vacation but it was so nice. We were able to visit local meat markets in nearby towns and it was a great experience. Plenty of boat ramps close to the house, and a light house at the end of the road was a cool adventure. Walmart and meijer plus a variety of city amenities were within 35 minutes of the house so that was convenient for us. The neighbors to the house were very nice and welcoming in passing but overall the stay was secluded and quiet which was great. I would stay here again and again when going to the UP.

Nocs Landing

We love the home and had an awesome time. The reviews on the property were very accurate, we very much appreciate the use of the property. One thing to add is make sure you bring your own groceries, the nearest grocery store is at least 30 miles away.

Nice Location for a pup

Very nice location on the bay, with beautiful sunsets. House is dated, but I imagine a place with everything brand new mint condition wouldn't allow dogs. There were rat traps on the property that I needed to move as our dog was sniffing them, so be aware of that.

Beautiful Lakefront Views!

Quiet and beautiful area. Deer all around. Windows open to Lake Michigan waves rolling in shore. Did not make a fire as no real fire pit. House is rustic and dated decor, but roomy. Queen beds were rather hard. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen adequate but could use new stovetop, oven, utensils and dishes. It is overall a good place to stay but could be 5 star with a little updating and cable or Dish TV (can only watch DVDs). It does have WiFi.

Third year in a row!!!🥳

We love this camp! This is our third year staying for a week, and we didn’t want to leave. The cabin is not fancy (orange shag carpet), but the location is wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely breeze, rocks/beach glass/fossils to pick, trees to hang a hammock, AND they allow dogs! What more do you need? Can’t wait for next year! 👍🌅❤️

Noc's Landing

This is our second time renting this cabin. We love the location and that dogs are allowed. I read 8 novels in 9 days while sipping iced tea and listened to the waves crashing as I swung in my hammock. There are a lot of fossils and beach glass as treasures and the fireworks from Escanaba/Gladstone are always a pleasure to watch from across the bay. My guys like to kayak and swim in the big lake. A few comments: the tap water tastes gross, so bring your own, the cabin is not super clean with a lot of cobwebs and dead flies and live ants in some corners, the microwave didn't work, there were only two half empty hand soaps, 1 and a half rolls of tp and paper towel (we stayed for 9 days), and the home needs some upkeep as it has fallen into some disrepair since our visit the previous summer. Overall though, the positives outweigh the negatives! It is a fabulous place to unwind and enjoy the Yoop. We enjoy this cabin and hope to return again in the future! :)

Beautiful panoramic view of Bay de Noc.

We had everything we needed from kitchen utensils to bedding and bath towels. Several lawn chairs to sit on the deck or near the shore. Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing summer weekend. Hope to return next year.

Great getaway cabin

This cabin was right on the water. The kids & I really enjoyed the water. Water shoes are a must because it is a rocky shore, no sand. Absolutely beautiful views. Cabin was nice & stocked with most essentials. Would note that it was not very clean, many cobwebs, etc. But excellent response when reached out to manager & overall great vacation.

Noc's Landing is a beautiful little cottage right on the shore. It is everything promised in the description. We would have given it 5 stars, but there are a few maintenance things that could be easily fixed. Kayaking, swimming, beach combing is all right at your door! Loved our stay with our pup!

Nice secluded property

Private lakefront with stony beach. Excellent, large private yard area. The kitchen and bathroom areas were newly redone and excellent. Beds were clean and comfy and you can hear the lake at night! I would go back for sure.
