'Jorvik House was a great stay for our overnight trip in York and was centrally located but away from the crowds of the city. The room was well appointed and quiet, and we had the best night’s sleep of our entire 3-week UK trip in the very comfortable bed! The only fault of our stay is the lack of clarity around the parking at the property - we weren’t aware of the parking situation before we arrived and the closest car park was £25 per night. '

'Prima hotel. Ruime, wel betaalde, parkeergelegeneid. Goede service. Wij waren met de motor en konden die laten staan tot de volgende middag. De jassen en helmen konden we achterlaten en deze werden elders bewaard. Goede loopafstand van het centrum. Ontbijt wel prijzig maar er zijn genoeg zaakjes in de buurt om ergens anders te ontbijten. De vaste regendouche in onze kamer was wel erg laag en niet te stellen. Maar verder zeker een aanrader'

'I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. And having a parking spot in the lower level garage was a bonus. On my next trip, this...

'Stayed for one night. The room we got facec the road but it was not noisy. The location was superb because it was walking distance to many tourist places. Many restaurants & shops nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was very limited but no extra charges.'
