' We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!'

'The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing.'

'Verbleven hier met onze 2 kinderen van 6&7. Prima niet overdreven luxe huisje. Klein zwembadje buiten. Voor t huisje bistrostoeltjes die niet lekker zitten. Er lopen 4 grote Duitse herders rond die het terrein bewaken: 1 hapte naar mijn jongste, niet echt fijn maar gelukkig geen verwonding. Het huisje ligt vlakbij een drukke weg. Er is geen airco. Budgettechnisch gezien voor Franschhoek een prima keuze, maar het had niet de charme, ligging of luxe die we zijn tegengekomen bij andere...

The property has everything you could want, lovely kitchen family area, pool with patio and a wood burning hot tub ( you will need to start the wood burning 2 hours prior). 'The Cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the host Jan has thought of everything. The private area outside and the pool are fab, pretty garden with lots of flower's and shrubs to attract the birds. Jan sent us useful information on booking and then more on check in which helped us decide how we would spend our time, he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and vineyards to visit. There were lots of lovely little touches each day it was definitely a 5 star...
