Parkeerplaats reserveren!
Het staat nergens vermeld, maar vergeet niet vooraf een parkeerplaats te reserveren. Anders betaal je - zelfs met hotelkorting (ook niet vergeten deze bij ieder autogebruik opnieuw te registreren) - 12 pond per dag in de openbare parkeerplaats. Als je niets vooraf regelt betaal je per dag 18 pond voor het parkeren (en dat kan in twee weken aardig oplopen...).

Good hotel, near train station and city center
Second time I stayed here... chose this hotel for being close to the train station and busses: easy to travel to Thames Valley Park from there. Also conveniently close to the center... shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Clean rooms, quiet: even on the street side.

Ontbijt beneden peil
De eerste dag onvoldoende tafels opgedekt. Beide dagen een kwalitatief matig ontbijt voor omgerekend € 23. Gebakken eieren waren niet gebakken, slap. Sausages smakeloos en droog. Geen grapefruitjuice. Yoghurt alleen lowfat in een cup (milieubewust??). Volgende keer voor 2.99 pond bij de pub in de straat. Weinig kastruimte in de kamer. Kleine badkamer.

Fijn hotel met net wat meer luxe voor een redelijke prijs. In het centrum van Reading. 14 pond voor dagje parkeren vond ik wel enorm duur. Dat kwam ter plekke nog bij de prijs op.

Just a deeply average place. Everything a bit worn out, rooms uncomfortably warm and noisy. Unfortunately not much choice in Reading hence they can get away with the prices they charge mid week.

The hotel was lovely and the room facilities were great. Unfortunately during the night I got up to use the bathroom and tripped on a bit of carpet that had come away from the floor (see photo) and bashed my head on the cupboard opposite causing severe concussion.

The staff were magnificent. We had a Christmas for two of our granddaughters as we would not see them before. The staff made sure we had adjoining rooms and helped us bring all the presents and Christmas tree up to the room. They even allowed us to check in really early. Thanks

Modern reception, Good shower thats where it ends. The rooms are old , small and well used. I requested water for the room and they told me to drink the tap water in the bathroom.... for £120 a night i expect water in the room !

Lovely stay
Lovely hotel, very central - right by the shops. Room was great and had a bath and separate shower. The pool/spa/gym area was really nice and spotless. Breakfast was so huge with loads of choice and the staff were all lovely.

Good hotel in great location
Friendly welcome. Good room. Big comfortable bed. Bath and separate shower in compact but well designed en-suite. Separate toilet. Mini fridge with fresh milk. Safe. Comfortable sofa. Large TV. Only there for 1 night en-route to Heathrow but served it’s purpose very well. Would happily stay again.

Staff was brilliant, from reception through to the breakfast staff. Parking was a bit expensive and had to park in mall carpark and had to walk a bit of a distance to the hotel with baggage. But otherwise it was a good experience and would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and have accommodated our room request. The rooms were clean and there were extra amenities that we didn't expect but are thankful for. The breakfast was good, the kids love the pancake maker.

Friendly and efficient staff. The toilet and bathroom being separate wasn't particularly convenient.
