'This was a good stay while stopping over in St. John. The view from the window was amazing. The hotel itself could use an overhaul but it was clean which is of utmost importance. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was typical continental style which was plentiful to get us going on the road.'

'Location is excellent for walking to lots of great bars/dining locations. We went to Grannan’s. It is an excellent seafood restaurant that is a minute walk away. It is not a cheap restaurant, so if you want high quality food, it does not disappoint. '

We enjoyed talking with him as he was very personable. We definitely would recommend Hillside Motel. It was not the Taj Mahal, but for the value price, it was worth staying there. 'The parking area was safe but quite tight to get in. Kitchen set up was excellent with a small dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable with a spacious room. Room was refreshed with amenities daily. Would highly recommend. '

'What a beautiful place! Our room was decorated in antiques and the bed was so cozy. A full, tasty breakfast was included! Wifi was a bit weak in our room but it was fine in the lobby and living room. '
