'This is a relatively new and modern hotel. Very clean and spacious. Our room faced a busy 6 lane street but with insulated windows, was still very quiet. And blackout blinds ensured a nice sleep. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The location was ideal; only a 10 walk to the historic centre.'

'My 2 day stay in Hotel Origen 438 was simply amazing! Ruben was very helpful from arrival until departure. The breakfast at the hotel (no buffet, but personal service) was excellent. I was also surprised by the quality of the food (and drinks) in the cosy hotel restaurant. Overall: A great experience in the city of Guadalajara!'

'The hotel is very well located albeit on a busy street. Easily walkable to historical sites bars & numerous restaurants. We loved the room & found the hotel to be beautifully clean & all the staff were suberb. We enjoyed the A La Carte breakfast which was very reasonably priced. Would love to stay again, if circumstances arise! Recommended!'

'Perfect, and perfectly situated in the best neighborhood. This historic building is charming and the decor is lovely with a super comfy bed. I was in room 8 which is perfect for a solo traveler. The staff are super helpful. Colonia Americana is the coolest part of the city and Gala Hotel is on the nicest street full of grand homes, coffeeshops and restaurants. Walkable to the city center and near to the wonderful University Art Museum. (4/5 for amenities only because the pool was undergoing...

'The room was clean and all was functional. Hot shower and great features. Well situated in a safe neighborhood. Access was easy. My stay was unfortunately affected by guests that did not respect the quiet hours and were partying at 3am in a common area. If it wasn’t for that unfortunate situation, this would have been a 5-star review.'

'Stayed in apart B which was fantastic! Prime location, and the service was great - everything you need to feel taken care of. Very much looking forward to returning. Feedback: the shower water pressure become non existent for a few nights or warm water disappeared mid shower. Hence the 4 stars. '

'Room was super clean and cozy. I am very picky when it comes to restrooms and this one was perfection. Shower was huge and overall very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Staff was very helpful and in a time of need, they helped me by letting me borrow a form charger when I lost mine. Will moat definately book again '

'El lugar como tal está bien, es una habitación cómoda, el personal es amable, solo algunos detallitos, las dos noches que estuvimos ahí hubo mucho ruido hasta tarde y en la mañana muy temprano creo que de otros huéspedes, así que no se podía dormir muy bien, no cuentan con estacionamiento suficiente el que tienen si logras un lugar y sales ya no es seguro que encuentres de regreso, no cuentan con servicio de alimentos en la habitación, solo en el restaurante, pero en aspectos generales bien.'
