Heading north, guests can explore the St Agnes Heritage Coast (10.5 miles), with nearby beaches including Chapel Porth, Porthtowan, and Portreath (all within 11 miles). Tehidy Country Park is to the west (9 miles), just on the other side of the bustling market town of Redruth (4.5 miles). Along the southern coast, the maritime town of Falmouth (8 miles) is home to some glorious beaches, with popular attractions including Enys Gardens, the Queen Mary Gardens, and Pendennis Castle. Also to the south, you’ll uncover the Poldark Mine, Cornish Seal Sanctuary and Trebah Garden (all within 10 miles). Nearby are the lovely Gilly Woods which your four legged friends will love.
The entrance to this beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished barn is on the first floor through an inviting porch, complete with plenty of space to leave coats and boots and dry off muddy dogs. There is also a handy cloakroom/WC. From here you go through to a fully equipped, farmhouse-style kitchen featuring a central breakfast table, ample worktops and flagstone flooring. Exploring further, the open-plan lounge/diner is full of character, with light streaming through the skylights whilst a good sized wood burner offers a warming ambience. This generous room also has a Freeview TV, comfortable seating, a charming dining area, and patio doors opening out onto a decked area with outdoor furniture. Head downstairs and enjoy the cosy feel from the underfloor heating. The hallway offers a quiet snug lined with busy bookshelves and leads through to a unique games room with a snooker table. From the hallway, at the end of each busy day away, choose from three sumptuous bedrooms.
