'The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and awesome! Officially this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Thanks, Holiday Inn staff for being so awesome :)'

'The room was clean. Although the pool wasn’t heated and a bit dirty. Breakfast was okay, not anything special I’d say for $300 a night I expected more. Expedia also says there is a $20 parking fee. They charge you at the front desk at check in this “fee” which includes parking and amenities which are just like cucumber lemon water and these very small smoothies glasses by the front door. The fee turned out to be $120. I think for the price staying here wasn’t worth it. Although staff was kind.'

'There was a little problem with the parking being near a flight of stairs as my aunt uses a waker. A bigger problem was the TV did not work. The electricity was off in the morning. It went off at 6:45am was still off when we left at 10:30am so the was nothing hot including coffee for breakfast. I was told I would recieve a discount due to tv not working. Still have received no refund and it is almost a week.'

'Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.'

'Easy highway access. Nice staff. Nothing outstsnding, but the room was clean and th bed was comfortable. The oncluded breakfast has the choice of toast, cereal or pancakes... no fruit. Overall, reasonable for the price, but a little effort on breakfast would sway me to stay again when in town on business.'

'Really old and expensive Needs an update bad, bathrooms gross, carpet folding, etc.. could hear everything from the Galloway and through the walls'

'The room was just ok. The bed was. On that great and the pillows were awful. Staff was wonderful. The location was great for driving to grab a bite or do some shopping. The place itself is old and could reallly use some updating. The elevator to the building next to main building, is at the other end of the building. So if you are upstairs you must walk to the other side, take the elevator up and then walk back to your room. Breakfast was wonderful.'

'I like the room as far as it is adorable but that was not any service at all no room cleaning no towels changing to trash taking I did not bother to check the breakfast choices since it too obvious to bother :)'
