'First off, this is a favela, and it’s amazing. The views are unreal, the space is comfortable, and it’s easy to just stay here all day and not want to leave. That said, it *is* still a favela, so come prepared. If you have multiple bags, use Google Translate to arrange a motorbike or van to get up the hill. 'This is a small and cozy hotel has a breathtaking view of the area. It is a little off the beaten path allowing us to have peaceful rest. The owner was very lovely and friendly, doing everything from the cleaning to meal prep while we were there. This property is located at the top of a steep hill, and driving up it can be tricky if you are not used to it.'
