Hotel zonder handdoeken
Grote kamer non smoking geboekt, er was gerookt op de toegewezen kamer. Alternatief: kamertje drie hoog achter. Geen handdoeken op de kamer, receptioniste gevraagd : handdoeken waren op, we moesten een paar uur wachten, dan zouden er handdoeken beschikbaar komen. Na enige stennis mijnerzijds werden de handdoeken van een andere kamer gehaald. Douche is handdouche van het bad die tegen de muur gespijkerd is, er is nauwelijks voldoende waterdruk om deze constructie te laten functioneren. Het hotel heeft een Indiasche keuken : prima gegeten

The property name is inconsistent with the services delivered. There is no bar or restaurant. There is no provision for a breakfast (i.e. no a.m. meal) and no obvious sign of hotel staff, aside from an receptionist. The bedroom is well equipped and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom is clean and very adequate. The room provides a clothes iron, and an ironing board, which is useful. Car parking space is plentiful, possibly because the property was almost empty. I requested a single room, and was upgraded to a double room. There is plenty of unoccupied room availability, on a Sunday night, ahead of an early start to the working week. Something is missing. The property is clean, but is the hotel equivalent of a ghost-town. It is situated sufficiently proximate to London Gatwick Airport, It has potential, but there's a great deal of work ahead to be carried out,

Bed was uncomfortable. Felt itchy throughout the night. Extremely outdated hotel. Needs a full renovation. Shower had no pressure Toilet was leaning and could it all night. Rooms were extremely cold. Walls are super thin could hear next door talking at 3am.

Staff really pleasant and helpful; very grateful for their help and assistance during the stay. The general standard of the hotel was OK. Our room was clean and beds comfy (but i like soft matress) but bathroom grim, with a shower barely usable as water too hot, or a trickle if not so hot. Could not get live TV, only radio on a TV app. No lift..quite a few stairs. I wouldn't stay again.

The hotel was fine as i needed at short notice and econmy. As i don't drive it was 25 mins walk from the station. And uphill. All of which does not detract from the friendly helpful greeting and the basic but very clean room (they might want to have the bank at the rear of the hotel cleaned!) If youre driving and want a basic stay ovenight without Gatwick prices

Broken, loose bathroom floor tiles with dirty grout. Shower water pressure barely comes out of the shower head on its most powerful setting, hardly a dribble on the weak setting. Corridors stank of sewage like an open drain. Highly unrecommended.

Ability to book in 24/7. Rooms are quite dated, but clean. All lights & sockets (some with usb) worked. Bit concerned about party noise when we arrived at midnight, but room was well away. For the rate its fine - we flew into Gatwick and used it to rest overnight, its only 20 minutes from South Terminal and free parking.

Hotel needs Alex Polizzi to visit
On arrival hotel was very dated, they were setting up for 3 different parties so lots of chaos in reception and out the front. We were told breakfast would not be available in the morning because of the functions. Room was large but very dated. Carpet full of stains and clumps of black hair all over obviously hadn’t been hoovered properly. Bathroom was clean however the shower did not work hardly at all, the handle to change the flow had snapped off so i had the tiniest flow of water to try and wash my hair. Worst shower i have ever had. Turned the aircon on as it was stuffy but quickly turned it off as it smelt. Bed was very comfy and clean that was the best part. Could only get bbc 1 and bbc2 on tv,

Last minute cancellation
My booking was cancelled by the hotel the day before due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ leaving me in a difficult situation having to book another hotel last minute. As I was looking for another place to stay, I saw this same hotel available at double the price. So the hotel had cancelled my stay so that they could charge a higher price. I contacted the hotel to complain but got nowhere- terrible customer service avoid booking here!

Poor stay
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It is like something out of the 1970's. Needs to be knocked down. Room was the furthest room possible. Bar not open in the evening. No water in the bathroom and a very cold shower in the morning.

Won't be staying again.
We booked the deluxe double - £72. The lights in the room didn't work and the TV didn't work. Went to reception they gentleman informed us that of the two other deluxe rooms that they had - one was booked and the other TV didn't work either. We were given a standard double - with no refund on the price difference. The gentleman on reception was nice enough. The room was very run down. Bathroom walls and doors were wooden panels and were gross - split, clear damp and just dirty. The Bed was uncomfortable with greasy handprints on the headboard. On leaving the room - after a bad night's sleep we found woodlice crawling around the carpet. Absolutely disgusting.

Disgusting hell hole
This hotel needs to be shut down ! It’s absolutely disgusting and I wouldn’t let my dog sleep in those rooms ! The corridors smelt disgusting, dead moths on the floor including our room ! Our room was damp cold and extremely dirty ! The tv did not working in any of the rooms and it has been like this for months, I did not stay here I asked for a refund and the manager would not give me one , I had to find somewhere else to stay adding cost on to my stay ! Absolutely disgusting dirty hell hole that needs shutting down !

The hotel was dismal right from reception through to and including the room. The corridors were a rabbit warren if wirn oyt caroets abd stairwelks, windiws wedged ooen, blinds blown inside out, buckets collecting rain water through ceilings. The room had a very broken mirror wardrobe, unusable with an upright runner hanging into the room, broken bathroom floor tiles and threadbare carpet, with an extremely rusty unkempt balcony. Smelt musty, with cigarette smoke smelling pillows Enough said ....

The hotel was very tired 40 rooms only 3 occupied. Our room was a deluxe. The mirror wardrobe door was broken and cracked. A floor tile in the bathroom was loose and broken and so was a trip hazard and could cause cut feet,. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't function and a ceiling light was also not functioning. One bedside reading light didn't work. Only positive was the standard of breakfast and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful.

The room was unlocked and stank of tobacco smoke so unusable. There was only one other room untenanted with a note at the front desk 'Bed is not good". The mattress sank 4 inches so not usable. We had to go elsewhere. Prateek Gurung at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic. I trust Expedia will grant us a refund.

Better facilities camping
Check in, didn't have the room i paid for but did give me a larger room. No wifi available apart from in grotty reception area. TV was useless, BBC1 & 2 but as the staff explained to every guest who complained, it was due to the weather! All 5 days? No Covid brief or measures in place and no cleaning anywhere. Car parking is free if you can get a space not full of broken beer bottles. Others complained of no lights, no showers and the list go's on. Non of the staff are capable of making a decision regarding complaints no refund offered. Hotels.com need to validate these dumps before advertising on the website.

Well, I stayed in a double room. It was quite cheap stay, not expecting much. The carpet was really old and not very clean. Bathroom was decently clean. Stayed overnight and it was comfortable.

First and last time
Cleanliness was at a minimum, certainly no deep clean anti CoVid in evidence. Trying to get hold of their self proclaimed excellent customer service was a nightmare, going through a whole automated procedure to get cut off...everytime...on a direct line number? Non of the TV 's were working, I got told it was the one in my room that was faulty, yet talking to my work colleagues the next day, none of theirs were working either. One morning I was half dressed in my room and a member of staff just walked into my room. His excuse was he didn't kno anyone was in there. Another evening I returned to my room and the door was open...not just unlocked...it was open. I would have to be exceptional desperate to use this chain again. First and last time.
