Last week someone drowned here. We spoke to a number of local people and these indicated that people drowned here regularly. The Hotel is built against a mountain, not suitable for less-abled people. 'The property was close to beach and walkable. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast was an option which we had a few times. Staff was very helpful arranging taxi and sharing walks and things to explore. Enjoyed that it was non smoking. Enjoyed having coffee and water available as well. I would recommend this place and have no problem coming back.'

'We absolutely loved our stay at Costa Oeste. It is the most beautiful corner of the world, right on a swimmable beach. There are at least 3 (good) restaurants within walking distance, in addition to the fantastic food and cocktails at the hotel. There are also the most gorgeous cats that live there (I fell in love with them). We were there for 4 nights with our two kids (11 and 15) who loved it also. Its calm, peaceful, and heavenly. Thanks to the staff that made it so special for us.'

'fantastic property, at a reasonable driving distance from San Juan del sur, and near 2 beautiful beaches. has its own de facto private beach, which is amazing. super friendly staff, excellent restaurant. the setting is exceptional: my room was isolated in the hill, with a private pool and had incredible views in all directions. would definitely return.'

On the last day of our stay we met the owner very nice and reflected the staffs attentiveness. The tide pools are great to lounge and that pics! Thanks for a great experience.'
