Very good place to stay!
Check in was swift and easy, easy going manager. Lot of respect for them as a couple because they run the property totally on their own. Making long hours and driving guests very early in the morning (starting +- 4 Am) , at no extra cost, to the airport (10 minut drive). Kitchen is well equipped, it's some of the guests (like everywhere else) that ar not cleaning up after using. Good, clean bathrooms. Perfect om een nachtje door te brengen vooraleer je terugvliegt. Shuttledienst is zeer gemakkelijk en flexibel. Voorzieningen zijn ruim voldoende aanwezig en ook het vroege ontbijt is mooi meegenomen bij een vroege vlucht.

Locatie is goed. Dichtbij luchthaven. Shuttle service is top! Kamers zijn erg gehorig. Ontbijt stelde nikd voor. Wij gingen om 8:00 ontbijten, toen was er al veel op en werd nauwelijks aangevuld. Overal stond er vuile vaat, wat niet opgeruimd werd. Niet door de gasten zelf, maar ook niet door personeel

Prima overnachtingsplek
Prima plek als laatste nacht van de vakantie. Kamers en badkamers zien er prima uit . De gedeelde keuken met zithoek was ook prima. Shuttle service naar het vliegveld was ook goed geregeld, ze rijden zelfs een keer extra als je je huurauto eerder moet inleveren. Met een kwartiertje lopen naar het centrum zitten er genoeg tentjes om iets te eten. Ontbijten kan ook in het guesthouse, hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt.

Nette basic kamer, prima voor een nacht
Nette kamers, er is een wastafel aanwezig op de kamer. Er zijn drie aparte ruimtes met elk een douche en toilet. Bij het ontbijt kun je alles zelf pakken, maar ook zelf afruimen en in de vaatwasser zetten. We hadden kamer twee en hoorden de taxi's goed aankomem, koffers rollen en weer vertrekken. We sliepen ook naast het ontbijtgedeelte en was wel wat gehorig.

Ideal stop before your flight
If you have an early flight, instead of getting up extra early to get the FlyBus from Reykjavik to Keflavík International Airport, go there the night before. KEF guesthouse will pick you up from the airport for free, you can spend the night and they will arrange for an early breakfast before dropping you off at the airport. Also free of charge. The guesthouse is located very close to the airport, so the transfer will only take up to 10 minutes. The room we stayed in was clean. Two comfortable beds and a small sink. The showers and bathrooms are down the hall. Also very clean, well maintained and looked quite modern. There is no dinner there but you can order a pizza or go to the supermarket and warm something up at the guesthouse. No problem. Ideal place to spend the night before your flight.

Eenvoudig hotel vlak bij het vliegveld
Ondanks de korte afstand naar het vliegveld, heb je geen last van het lawaai. De kamers zijn eenvoudig ingericht, maar wat er staat is van zeer goede kwaliteit. De toiletten en badkamers zijn gemeenschappelijk en zien er netjes, modern en goed onderhouden uit. De gemeenschappelijke keuken/zitkamer is een uitkomst. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en als bonus is er koffie, thee en sap de hele dag beschikbaar en word je gratis van en naar het vliegveld gebracht. Zeker een aanrader!

Prima hotel op 5 minuten afstand van het vliegveld
Prima hotel voor 1 nacht op 5 minuten afstand van het vliegveld. Zijn 3 prachtige douches aamwezig en een grote keuken met gratis koffie en thee en koude dranken. In deze ruimte staan ook tafels een bank en tv. Overigens is het meer een hostel dan een hotel/guesthouse.

Me dice que me llegaría un email con mi número de cuarto y la clave inteligente de la llave de mi habitación y nunca me llegó el email. Una persona que estaba afuera porque le pregunté me dio un número para llamar el cual llame y no contestó nadie ese señor entró al lobby y me ayudó. Además cuando compré añadí el desayuno por 37 dólares y no hay desayuno bufete no hay nada! La única y peor experiencia que pasé en mi visita a Iceland

It did the trick for an over night layover, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for. Noisy through out the night, and my room was positioned where I could see the light from the reception desk through my curtain so that kept me up as well. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Transport from airport was $20 USD, but at least to the airport it was free. I couldn’t find towels in my room or in the common bathroom, so I wasn’t able to make use of the shower.

We reserved two family rooms to accommodate our large group. When we arrived, one of the rooms was occupied. The staff on hand seemed really confused how that would happen. We were only there one night and they found a couple beds for those that didn’t fit in our one room. However, they refused to accommodate any price changes based on an incorrect narrative that was told by the staff that helped us out in order for the staff to not get in trouble.

Enjoyable overnighter for early KEF flight
Overnighter for early KEF flight to London. Easy to locate and nearby eating places and a Bonus for last minute shopping. Good size room for 4 for last minute packing with a nice attached bathroom. Shared kitchen always open with coffee, tea and juices available. There's even a prison cell within the guesthouse! Free parking but WiFi in room not very strong. We were surprised breakfast was spread out at 6am as were not told it was provided though we did not consume. Overall, a great night's stay. Will be back when in town again.

This accommodation was somehow the most expensive and at the same time the worst one in our 2 week Iceland trip. Shared bathroom was filthy, no staff at reception desk for hours on end, difficult check in, etc. Shuttle service to the airport for 3500 krona offered, we took a cab and it cost 3100 krona, they straight up try to rip you off. Avoid this place if at all possible.

Suffocating night
We stayed in Family Room #12. When we arrived the blinds were up for all 4 windows with the sun shining in. Normally this would be great, but the room was stifling and only 1 of the windows opened...a measly 6 inches, to let some air in. My entire family felt like they were suffocating all night as we could never cool the room down. To make matters worse there was an awful stench of urine in our private bathroom. I'm going to assume it's from the septic tank but the public bathroom in the hallway next to our room had no such smell. Lastly, this hotel also runs a long-term car parking business. So cars were EVERYWHERE....good luck to the people that were actually staying there to find a spot close to a door to unload their car. The photo of an expansive lot around this hotel that you see on this site is not at all what we encountered.

Compact hotel close to airport with sufficient dining area. Its possible to walk to the hotel or take a bus if 20 euros for 5 min taxi drive sounds expensice. Theres good bakery selling donutses nearby. Donuts were the only thing cheaper than in Finland...
