Geweldig appartement in de binnenstad aan het parlementsplein

Het appartement ligt naast het IJslandse parlement en het parlementsplein in het centrum van Reykjavik. iT bevindt zich op de tweede verdieping in een appartementencomplex boven het sushi-restaurant "Osushi Train". Je kunt via de trap of de lift in het appartement opstaan. Het gebouw heeft een gratis parkeerplaats in een beveiligde ondergrondse parkeergarage.

Het appartement is een twee slaapkamer van 89 vierkante meter groot. De eigenaren van het appartement wonen op de 4e verdieping in hetzelfde gebouw. Bij aankomst ontmoet je de eigenaars persoonlijk. Ze geven je de sleutels in persoon samen met een fles mousserende wijn. Ze zullen u de accommodatie laten zien en ook met u de buurt in wandelen om u de beste restaurants, bakkerijen, winkels, supermarkten en etc. te laten zien. Deze service doen de eigenaren graag zonder u hiervoor op te laden.

Er zijn twee ruime slaapkamers. De eerste slaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden, die kunnen worden samengevoegd tot een tweepersoonsbed, de tweede slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed. Beide slaapkamers hebben een nachtkastje met lampen die goed leeslicht bieden en een 32-inch tv met veel verschillende kanalen.

Het appartement is uitgerust met 1. 5 badkamers. Het hebben van een extra badkamer biedt comfort en gemak voor reizende groepen tijdens de ochtenden en 's avonds wanneer de badkamers meestal bezet zijn. De grotere badkamer heeft een wasmachine en een droger. Wasmiddel is aanwezig.

De woonkamer heeft een comfortabele bank die op een slaapbank kan worden getrokken. Deze slaapbank kan gemakkelijk twee personen slapen. Over de bank is een 42 "-tv met veel verschillende kanalen en het WiFi-station. Eigenaren zullen laten zien hoe de tv en wifi werken bij aankomst. De WiFi is GRATIS.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust en comfortabel. De keuken heeft een fornuis, een oven, een koelkast, een vaatwasser, een koffiezetapparaat, een waterkoker en een magnetron. Afwastabletten zijn aanwezig. Alle gebruiksvoorwerpen zijn er om maaltijden te koken. Vanuit de keuken kunt u op het balkon stappen. Het balkon is comfortabel en heeft een tafel en stoelen. Vanaf het balkon zie je het Parlement en het parlementsplein.

Het is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor elke reiziger die alles wil ontdekken wat Reykjavik te bieden heeft. Alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden, winkels, restaurants, bars, galeries en musea liggen allemaal op loopafstand van het appartement. Ook in de buurt is de stadsvijver / park en de haven met de fantastische walvisspotten en uitzicht op de berg "Esja".

Perfect stay in every way.

Excellent location for the center of Reykjavík. Literally less than one minute walk from Bus Stop #3 where tours/ transfers etc. will pick up and drop off. Magnus met us at the bus stop and bought us directly to the apartment. He was very helpful and informative which creates a good impression on arriving to a new city. The property itself was as described, immaculately clean and perfect for two couples. We were very comfortable. Lovely touches such as a carton of milk in the fridge, a dish of chocolates ( sorry Magnus - we ate them all!), plenty of coffee, soap, laundry detergent - all very much appreciated. One of the best apartments we have stayed in.

Great location, so convenient with parking

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Reykjavik. The check-in instructions were a little sparse, but the apartment was clean, cozy, the owner was so nice and helpful, and it was such a convenient spot. The parking was in a garage so our car didn't get covered in snow, and we were walking distance from all the sights and really great restaurants.

Magnus is a lovely friendly host He showed us around the neighbourhood when we arrived even took care of our bags after we checked out before we went to airport. Great Location

The listing accurately reflects reality. The balcony overlooking the city square was awesome...even in November. We (a group of 5) stayed for 3 nights and had a great time in Reykjavik. We highly recommend this property for a group of 4 or more.

Great Location & Comfortable Cozy Beds

Great location for walking to cafes, restaurants, shops, and the neighborhood up the hill toward the church. Also close to a bus stop that worked well with drop-offs and pickups. The apartment was largely clean and updates are nicely done. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and beds very, very comfortable … after traveling 10 hours and touring the countryside for eight hours on a cold rainy day, this, and the geothermal heat, was the best! Aside from needed attention to a few details in the main bath, this is a good, comfortable apartment. We had a couple of requests and Magnus was responsive and helpful in a timely manner. As to the exterior, the secured entry to the building could use some attention to appearance and hallways leading to the apartment are dated but the neighborhood seemed safe and again is a great location especially if you are on the go.

GREAT downtown Reykjavík Apartment

Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown Reykjavík. We were 2 couples in Iceland to participate in the Marathon and experience Iceland. You couldn’t ask for a better location if you are in town for the Marathon...the start line is less than a block away. Also close to the pickup locations for the tours and the numerous Reykjavík museums and shopping. Because we were 4 staying the two bedrooms AND two bathrooms worked out perfectly. The host was great at check in. Parking spot under ground is also a bonus if you are renting a vehicle. HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for great accommodations at a reasonable price.

Perfect City Center Apartment

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Reykjavik. The location was in walking distance to everything. The apartment was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and there is a nice terrace. Such a great apartment!

We had a fantastic time at Magnus and Margarit's apartment. Everything was perfect - the location (easy walking distance to shops and restaurants), two bathrooms (a luxury!), kitchen (we cooked!), gorgeous patio for people watching and garage parking which is a big bonus. We felt very welcome and comfortable for our stay. I recommend this apartment to anyone and can't wait to visit again.

Great stay in Reykjavik

Fantastic apartment in central Reykjavik. This is centrally located in the same square as the parliament building. There are fantastic restaurants in the square as well and the main street for shopping is one block away. The apartment has a small terrace balcony with seating for four. We sat out there almost every evening to drink a glass of wine and unwind after a day of adventures with our tour guide. Magnus was a great host and was very flexible with our needs and we really appreciate the communication both before and during our stay. Thank you again.

very nice accomodation/appartment! Magnus was a great host and helped us with our cars. The appartment is right in the heart of Reykjavik and everthing can be reached by feet. Maybe for a family with kids the kitchen could have more interior with dishes, cutlery, etc. If we visit Reykjavik again we would be happy to stay there again.

What a fantastic time we had. The flat is in the perfect position, a short walk from the centre of Reykjavik (5mins) and right next to the old harbour area. There are plenty of great eating and drinking places to choose from. The flat is beautiful and well presented, we were even able to chill on the balcony when the sun came out. Magnus was the perfect host , very welcoming and had great suggestions of where we could go. The scenery, geysers and waterfalls on the south coast were magnificent. Visiting the National Museum and the Perlan (Geology,Geog and Nat Hist) are "must do". My personal highlight was the whale watching (we saw 3!) on the speedy RIB boat, a real roller-coaster! Need to return to do the North coast!

Amazing 1st VRBO Experience

The apartment was in the PERFECT spot in Reykjavik! Within steps of Bus Stop 3, where excursion pick ups occur. And, in the "old town" area, so cafes, shops and restaurants are also within steps. Great view of the Parliament Building! Such a lovely, updated, clean apartment with everything you need. When Margaret checked us in, she very kindly reviewed how to use the TV and appliances. She also gave us some cream for our coffee! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was so nice to have 2 bathrooms! I would HIGHLY recommend staying here! I look forwarding to visiting again in the future.
