'This riad is absolutely stunning. Located in a quiet street in the old medina, yet close walking distance to the souk, famous blue gate and more. The riad is beautifully decorated, beautiful courtyard with a fountain. There's a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the medina. Breakfast was simple but with delicious Morrocan treats everyday.'

'Sprookjesachtige riad midden in de medina van Fez. Na een dag slenteren door de straatjes van de medina is het heerlijk om op het dakterras te genieten van het fantastische uitzicht en de ondergaande zon. Kamer was prima, niet heel ruim maar alles is aanwezig. Management is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt is heerlijk en uitgebreid, diner smaakvol maar ook wel enigszins aan de prijs. Wij zouden Dar Bensouda zeker aanbevelen.'

'According to the owner this used to be the house of a prominent family of Fes. This is not very apparent from the outside, as the building does not distinguish itself from neighboring buildings, but once you enter it, a complete new world emerges. 'We followed our porter through the twilit twisting streets of the Medina for some time before they opened the door to this incredibly opulent Riad! What a gem with ornate and detail-oriented renovated rooms that restored the splendour of this old house. Food was delicious on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Medina. Host was gracious and staff made us feel at home. We wandered through the Medina the next day and it was a true Moroccan experience. Would highly recommend!'

'We stayed one week in the hotel. It is a perfect place to relax. The hotel is situated near the taxi point. So it is easy to move from there. It is very quiet in the hotel. There is a beautiful terras where you can eat your breakfast. The breakfast is super ! Every day different things.Not the standard breakfast you normaly get. I loved the homemade marmelade. The coffee is very good. The room was very clean. Every day I was surprised about how clean the room was. '

'A quiet oasis in the busy turmoil of the El Bali medina in Fez. The ambiance here was like a monastery; partly by design but also because we were the only guests at the time. Staff were friendly and efficient, everything was clean and we enjoyed the piece and quiet after a day of local attractions'

'It was Fabulous! I stayed in the white suite. It was larger then the photos and overlooks the courtyard. The patio is huge. Bathroom was wonderful. It’s on the second floor. Hotel is very quiet and safe with great food! Service amazing and spotless. I would go just to stay and enjoy the hotel. I took a private cooking class and it was informative about the history and very fun. Great place. Did not use the pool but it looked so inviting and peaceful. The pictures does not do this...
