The Inn is in a lovely old house, with plenty of gables (hence the name) and pretty gardens and outdoor space for eating, reading, bird watching or even playing badminton. The rooms are furnished with elegant antique and modern antique pieces, yet have a contemporary feel, too. The bathroom was enormous and a great mix of old (tiled floor) and new, jacuzzi settings. Lots of great light in the bedroom and common spaces, and a light touch from the innkeepers mainly through text messages and emails that worked well. Good morning coffee and hosts accommodated request for non dairy milk. Very easy walk to the Rhinebeck town. Would definitely visit again.
