Thanks for your review Richard and we wish you would have let us know that you needed more toilet paper and had difficulty with the thermostat. When we texted you the morning after your arrival if everything was to your liking and if you had any questions you responded "Everything is fine, thank you!" We would like to assure our future guests that the bedroom windows do have cellular shades with a darkening feature but we admit they are not as effective as room darkening drapes would be however we concluded installing them would ruin the light an airy feel to the place and our experience has been most visitors to our area are up and outside fairly early. As for the towels, we will see if perhaps some of the towels have gone missing - there is a washer and dryer in the unit. As described in our rental agreement we do provide adequate toilet paper (and other items) for a three night stay and are happy to quickly remedy any additional need with a phone call or text. The HVAC system is completely described in the Guest Instructions and the thermostat simply requires adjusting the set point with the up or down arrows - again any issues could have been quickly resolved with a phone call or text. As for our neighbor, one of the advantages of staying in this mixed use part of town is that after business hours it is the quietest part of town which our guests really appreciate.
