Great trip
House was very nice and clean! Please keep in mind that the home does not have central air conditioning and we didn’t know that prior to booking our stay! July in SW Colorado can be hot and we definitely were warm! The owners provided one portable AC unit and that kept one bedroom nice and chilly but the rest of us were very warm!

Mountain Retreat
This house on top of the mesa in Ridgway was fantastic. It easily accommodated four adults and is in a perfect spot to access all of your mountain adventures. The trail system through the log hill community was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning soon!

Highly recommend Peaceful, relaxing, well stocked
Beautiful clean house. Well stocked with lots of supplies, they have thought of everything and have it for you. Little things that I always forget they have thought of, for example band aids, my son cut his finger. Plenty of kitchen items and supplies for cooking and wiping down the kitchen. Great wifi coverage, 3 people had to log in for meetings, no issues.

Great property!
The property listed gave our vacation a great base camp for outdoor and off-roading experience. The property is clean, well-equipped with very clear instructions for check- in/check-out. It sits in a very quiet area with great views. Highly recommended!

Great Mountain Retreat
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked when we arrived (food storage/wraps, spices, coffee, sugar, etc). The property manager was immediately responsive when I did not receive check-in information due to technological difficulties. The property was 15 minutes from downtown Ridgway and easy to access from Montrose. 2 recommendations: 1) outlets with a USB option would be nice and 2) the grill lighter did not work. Thankfully we were able to locate some matches and were able to light it with those. Certainly not deal breakers! We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Beautiful Views, quiet and clean!
This was our 2nd time staying in this home. The mountain views from the windows and back deck are amazing and we enjoyed watching deer, bunnies and birds every evening. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed visiting Ridgway (there’s a great park for kids there), Ridgway State Park, Ouray, Silverton and Telluride from this house. We also rode the Cascade Canyon Express train from Durango during our stay (made for a full day, but well worth it!) We we’re glad the home had 2 fans. It was pretty warm during our stay in June/July and the house got warm during the day (not as big of a deal because we were not there during the day as much). The house cooled off easily at night and fans were a big help. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Not recommended for summer vacations! No A/C
We stayed during July. When we got into the house the heaters were on 70 degrees. The house was unbearable. My husband and I planned to have some rest before going out for dinner. Just impossible! We were disappointed. We had to open all windows and front door to get some fresh air. Only after 3 days we were getting comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate your helpful comments. It is warm in the month of July; as in most homes, AC is not available. I'm delighted you opened the windows and doors for fresh air, that's the best thing to do when the temps cool down. I'm sorry we weren't able to accommodate the extended stay you inquired about, it is a busy rental property! Thanks again for staying with s, we hope to host you again in the future!

Amazing wildlife and scenery
Amazing wildlife and scenery, Beautiful property isolated, nightly visits from a family of deer eating off the back lawn area, two other dear families throughout the day would visit. Beautiful view of the mountains, from our driveway we could go for amazing hikes, and a lovely road/gravel route to ride our bicycles taking about 40 to 50 minutes with 800 feet of climbing and descending. Beware if you have T-Mobile the phone reception is extremely poor on top of log hill. I understand Verizon has better reception but that is not something I know in person. Highly recommended

Beautiful spot!
Gorgeous, quiet location about 15 minutes from town. Great spot for a small family. We loved the wood burning stove and we definitely appreciated the updated kitchen amenities as we cooked almost every meal during our stay. The view from the deck is nothing short of incredible, and we’ve lived in Colorado our entire lives. Thanks again for the wonderful Christmas! Oh and the tree!

This is one of the best VRBOs we have ever visited. It was very well stocked with household items, very clean and in a gorgeous location. Be sure and check out the hiking trails on Log Hill. We have no complaints and highly recommend this property and hope to go back.

Beautiful, comfortable property.
When we arrived, the property was spotlessly clean--particularly important in the Time of Covid. The detailed information we received prior to arrival was very helpful regarding property location, operation of appliances, etc. The location is fantastic--gorgeous views of the Cimmaron mountains from the dining room & kitchen. Excellent location for hiking in the area. In summary, we couldn't have been happier with the property!

Thank you for the helpful feedback, I wish I had known of the trouble once you had arrived. We do state there is no AC offered here but if the shades are closed during the day and the house is closed up, it will keep the cool air in, opening up the home after the sum passes to get the cool evening airflow through the home. I'm so sorry for the trouble! We hope you had a lovely visit to the area.

Quiet time on the Mountain
Loved our week in the mountains. House was clean and comfy. Plenty of firewood! Location is off the main roads so if you go during snow or winter season, if you don’t have all wheel drive vehicle, bring chains. We saw deer come through the property almost every morning Right outside the window. I would stay here again!

Great place
This was the perfect getaway for my family. We loved the decorations and furniture and location! It was secluded and private for us. We loved the deck where we went star gazing at night and enjoyed the sunrise in the morning.

Fabulous Home!
Loved this property! It was very clean, neat and beautiful. The owners were so thoughtful with a well stocked kitchen (including Al foil, plastic wrap & nags...) and baths. They even had towels for taking with you to the hot springs. The deck was so nice and relaxing in the mornings and evenings and we saw deer walking by a number of times. The only thing I would request is one more additional floor lamp near the fireplace as that corner of the family room was a bit dark for my taste (the rest of my family didn't mind). Very happy with our stay; we will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

The property is great, awesome views in a good location. We really liked her welcome book w local trails nearby. We never would have discovered the mountain biking near by and it was one of our favorite rides in Colorado.
