Reserved a room with double queen beds. Had 2 grand children with hubby and I. Got there to check in and they said all they had was a king suite with a sofa. No extra bedding. Had to go to front desk and ask for some. Phone in room to call front desk didn’t work. Alot of hair in the tub area. Pass on a shower. Bed was old and saggy.

The back of the toilet had dirt and hair on it, two of the towels had literal dirt on them. The bed sheets also had a hair and stain on them. Overall cleanliness was bad but everything else was fine.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I just wanted a clean room to sleep in. The bathroom was gross, and the bedroom floors were so dirty.

We arrived pretty late at night or else we would have cancelled our reservation as soon as we got there. They have a no smoking policy but the hallways were full of smoke and our hotel smoke detector was actually covered up. We had to be reassigned removes on our arrival because the door wouldn’t unlock. Between the “neighbors” and “neighborhood travelers” walking through and yelling down the halls throughout the night to the quality of the entire hotel room, I refuse to stay at another hotel under the same name. The neighborhood was pitch black around and we were lucky to park under what seemed like the one light in the parking lot. My husband told me once we were in the room he didn’t want me leaving by myself and he would worry about our luggage. I wouldn’t recommended this hotel ever and I made the mistake by not looking at the reviews before booking.

Jolee,We sincerely apologize for your experience. The batteries in the door lock for the first room you were assigned had died, so you were moved to another room. That was corrected the next morning. The timers on the lights were adjusted that evening, and the lighting issues was corrected as well. We do not allow smoking in the hotel and it is addressed as soon as it is brought to our attention.

The front desk took 3 rings (1 minute between rings) to respond. I arrived at 330pm and check in time is 3p. The floor was covered in dirt as seen by the bottoms of my feet being covered once i removed my socks and shoes. The bed had hair on the top of it and once removing the duvet and top sheet there was more hair. The room had a full sized refrigerator and freezer as well as a kitchen sink and stove/oven with cabinets for storing. The TV had Netflix. There was a couch in the room and plenty of space to place belongings.

We sincerely apologize it took the front desk agent a few moments to respond. They were assisting another guest elsewhere in the hotel. We will address the issues with housekeeping you experienced as this is not acceptable. Since you had to wait, the desk agent did upgrade you from the simple king room you reserved to a king suite.

Light switches did not work. Breakfast was very poor. The coffee perk was broken, no coffee in rooms either. Couldn't regulate temperature in the room. Will never stay here again!!

I truly believe they are trying to fix this place up but it’s going to take a lot of time. Even the workers doing work in the rooms are smoking inside. The night manager uses the exterior of a rooms cooling unit as his personal ash tray. There’s tape all over from an attempt to repaint. The room itself smelled okay and was very clean so they are trying.

Debbie,I did look into your feedback. Our maintenance department that is doing the renovating are all non smokers. Once our painting is complete, the tape will be removed.

After driving 20 hours, the two rooms we booked were occupied. Crash the receptionist was not helpful and said this has been happening lately. She seemed to be high. Went to a different hotel in town.

Sheryl,Thank you for your feedback. In watching the video playback from this incident, the desk agent did attempt to place you in different rooms once the mistake was made. The gentlemen yelling and entering the employee only area not once, but twice caused concern for staff safety. We authorized a full refund without penalty.

Hotel needs upgraded bad. Beds were very uncomfortable and TV was from the 90s. Took 5 minutes for the front desk attendant to show up. She was nice and doi g her best as she was in training and no one to help her. I would have canceled if I could of.

I can honestly say the service at this hotel is top notch. The management team (Cliff and SJ) and everyone with whom we came into contact on the staff were amazing and very helpful. Cliff went above and beyond the call of duty. I have to say the level of attention we experienced here is better than I've experienced even in most high-end establishments. Breakfast When I go somewhere I always like to know if there's a breakfast included and what kind. There is a continental breakfast that includes things like coffee, muffins, oatmeal packets, etc. (no hot items such as eggs if you're looking for that.) The hotel The facilities are of the style and budget that you would find at places like motel 6, Super 8, etc. Our room was a double queen. I can't speak for every room. But the beds in our room are of the style of spring technology on par with what you find in a budget hotel. The room was very clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and better than I have experienced generally in budget hotels. In my conversations with Cliff, he shared with me that they recently started managing the hotel and they are working hard to give the entire hotel a "facelift." They just installed new key card systems and are in the process of renovating the rooms and bathrooms. While you can always find issues with any place if you look for it, I gave them top scores because of their quality of service and it is very apparent that the management and all staff are working hard to "right the ship."

I personally inspected this property and stayed there due to your review. Every room was checked and there were no sign or indication of bedbugs. The area does have elm bugs, which do sometimes make their way into the rooms.

Honestly if I could have got this refunded I probably would have. The bed was uncomfortable, room looked like it wasn’t taken care of, the bathroom only had 2 wash rags. The only positives were the AC worked and service was great checking in. I would be willing to try again but they need to do better on the rooms and make them appear more taken care of.

Front desk-unhelpful and rude. Mold on bathroom roof, walls in room dirty in many places, clothes and trash from previous tenants under the bed! There was no breakfast at 7am or 8 am, breakfast supposed to be from 6am-9am. Roof panels out of roof everywhere, duct tape on trim. No wash rags in room. I'm sure there is much much more I'm not mentioning.

Willingness of owners Chris and Rhonda to help get us on the road after auto breakdown on a weekend. All local motels were booked and we were faced with sleeping in our car until businesses open on Monday. We will always be grateful.

Needs an upgrade inside but it worked out well
Easy and friendly check in. The motel is and probably has been due for an internal update for quite some time. However, there is a little dog space out back, ok parking and my room, on the second floor, was very quiet. I was quite shocked how quiet it was. I'd stay here again. Easy on and off of the highway.
