Fishing getaway
We’ve been to the Casita before and when returning to Riggins for our fishing trips, we look for availability at the Casita. A cozy place to end the day, always very clean, close to town and communication is great with the host!!

Perfect location and unique house.
This was such a fantastic find! It took our trip to the next level because the location was perfect for us and the set up was so unique. Every window we looked out of was picturesque. It really felt like the property was a 'home' with lots of attention paid to the details.

A beautiful birthday trip
This casita is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the river and mountains, and it’s ideally located just outside of town. We didn’t need to bring any kind of utensils or dinnerware of cookware, it is all provided. I was blown away by the beautiful interior and exterior of the casita. It gave us the perfect backdrop for a quiet, romantic birthday getaway for my boyfriend and myself. We loved sitting out in the chairs in front of the casita with our drinks and music. If we find our way to Riggins again, I truly hope the casita is available as this is where I want to stay on the regular. Thea, our host, was absolutely incredible with her communication, especially since I was a needy, first time visitor. I can definitely check my first vrbo experience off the list as a total success that has given me and my boyfriend some wonderful memories to cherish. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Book it now!

Wedding Get Together
My BFF and I met my daughter and her husband for my niece’s wedding. My daughter and son-in-law had been hiking in the mountains. Before and after the wedding they fished in the river while we relaxed and read. We all throughly enjoyed our stay. We found the Casita very comfortable and charming. We will highly recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful spot for our weekend in Riggins. We have stayed in this house twice and love it. Great location with fantastic views. Comfy, clean, easy to find and check in. Bonus: you can hear the river at night w the windows open. :)

Little Casita Retreat

This was a perfect house, probably the best vacation rental my family has ever stayed in. It was a beautiful property, perfect location, meticulously kept, and well appointed with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the view each morning and evening, and found it to be a perfect jump-off point for all the local adventures.

A Slice of Heaven on Earth
This beautifully picturesque setting is amazing! The view of the river set between the adjacent verdant hills is truly awe-inspiring. The Casita (house) itself, with its Spanish-themed style, adds to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The house is well-stocked with all of the necessities. We found it clean and ready to enjoy. And our jaunts to Riggins were also a fun experience, with the friendly small-town atmosphere.

Wonderful little spot!
What a great find just outside of downtown Riggins! The hotel options are fairly limited so it was great to find this little Casita overlooking the river. Very clean, comfortable and the host was quick to communicate when we had a minor issue with getting into Netflix one evening. Definitely the place to stay in this area I highly recommend it!

This was a miracle discovery! A place my husband has been dying to visit and a home that epitomizes my most favorite construction style! The house is meticulously built and decorated and so comfortable! 5 star accommodations with the privacy of an owner built home on a gorgeous lot with a view of the salmon river!!! Unreal. Peaceful. Zen. Thea was so quick in responding and securing the casita was instantaneous! Extremely responsive in all aspects. We loved the privacy and closeness to the river as well as Riggins. So much more than we imagined. Just perfect!! ❤️

Darling and cozy! Well set up for a family. There was an issue with the doorknob and the owner was so quick to respond and correct. The AC kept up with the incredible heat we had when we were there. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
