'The shampoo and conditioner bottles mounted in the shower were empty! The thermostat was it working in our room! There were homeless people hanging out at the side entrance we used to get to our room! I will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone!'

'The staff are very nice, the room needed a bit of help though. Sort of dirty, dog hair on the bed. The room was a little stinky. But other than that everything was great.'

'The breakfast was great! Only disappointing part was the pool was not open. Otherwise staff were very friendly and helpful.'

'The hotel is extremely un maintained. We were there for four nights and now once we got her room cleaned, even though we asked. Staff extremely unprofessional don’t answer their phone. Don’t listen to your needs. Also, the parking it was a scam, it’s a third-party service where they charge you and they don’t tell you the amount you get to find out when you check out. Never had service this bad.'

'The entire staff was so nice. Ms T and Brooke were super friendly abd talkative. The front desk lady was very nice as well. The rooms were comfy, clean, and very dark when the blackout shades were drawn. The lobby has tea and lemon water, coffee and mints on hand. The place is small and homey. Breakfast was good Parking is easy. Location is great. I would 100% stay here again. I have nothing bad to say. All places should have a staff as nice as this one does.'

'Pillows, bed and continental breakfast were 2stars. Bed too hard, pillows were very flat, no fruit, bread not fresh. Maid needs to make sure to refill body wash and clean tub better. TV remote would hardly work. No USB nor USB-C charging docks in rooms, only outlets. Front desk area, lobby and breakfast area were nice and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful.'

'The accessible bathroom had some issues. The bathroom sink was partially clogged, the shower allowed water to flood the bathroom floor, and the shower caused the shower curtain to intrude into the shower space to the extent that it was not usable.'

'The staff are genuinely nice and professional. We had returned one night and a car with lots of stuff in it door was open. Unloading, returning or error? Front desk said if no one came in 10 minutes she would close the door. Welcoming atmosphere, clean remodeled room. We stay here several times a year when we return ‘home’ to JC. The staff reflects JC very well.'

'Only 2 rooms on the 2nd floor that were short of ready. Smelled like paint really bad as the majority of the second floor was being painted My room smelled like it was just painted. Highly unsatisfied'

'For $130, I would expect the room to be clean. Bathroom had alot of water damage under the sink on the wall same for around the bath. Sink faucet moved completly over when we turned it on and off. Breakfast was ok, but bread products were definitely not fresh.'

'Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area.'

'The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were super nice and helpful. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was non existent.'

'The first room assigned I walked in and the AC was off and the room wasn't cleaned. It was 100 degrees outside. Got assigned a second room on 3rd floor with no elevator, room ok, but AC was set at 60 and room didn't get below 78 degrees, so it ran constantly. As I was leaving and checked under the bed for my stuff, there was clothing and trash from previous stays. And the 3rd floor was hot and smelled like dirty diapers.'

'Business office computers logged out and would re load. Shower was run down and loose from the wall.'

'Tim, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time. We very much enjoyed the tour of his beautiful home and garden. The candlelight breakfast complete with champagne flutes was truly memorable. We would absolutely stay here again.'
