Large cabin Sjusjøen – XC ski in/out & lovely view

Welcome to this cozy and slightly special cabin!

The location is in the upper part of Birkebeinerbakken, which means that you can put on your ski equipment in the cabin and go out to the famous slopes on Lake Sjusjøen in winter. The cabin has a waxing room.

In summer, this is a perfect starting point for long mountain tours in the area on foot or by bike. The trail cycling network on Ringsaks and Øyerfjellet is fantastic. The road network for regular mountain biking with or without electric propulsion is also extensive. The summer also offers many good activities for children, such as horse riding, playgrounds, and this is a good starting point if you are planning a trip to Hunderfossen family park or Lilleputthammer playground.
There are very good fishing opportunities in the area, in Sjusjøvannet large Pike have been caught in recent years, but in other nearby rivers and waters you can catch nice Trout.

Recommends a mountain trip on foot up to Lunkefjell, which is located at an altitude of approx. 1000 metres. Here you have lovely views in all directions. And feel free to take a break at Store Lunken, because here it is idyllic and, due to the shallow water, the bathing temperatures are surprisingly good here.

Back at the cabin, you can sit on the terrace and look out over the fantastic view with a barbecue and something good in the glass.

It is probably one of the first cabins to be built in Birkebeinerbakken, which was the area's alpine slope from 1987 to 2008.
It has been refurbished and built on several times since the year of construction in 1969, and contains a cozy kitchen / dining area and bedroom, and a new part with 2 large, beautiful and modern bathrooms.

Furthermore, there is an Annex right outside where 4 people can sleep in comfortable bunk beds.
Sleeping space in the main cabin:
Bedroom 1: bunk bed 150X200 and 90X200
Bedroom 2: bunk bed 90X200 and 90X200 plus single bed 90X200
Bedroom 3: single bed 90X200 and a single bed over 90X200
Annex: 2 bunk beds 90X200 and 90x200 plus cot 63X152

Pets are allowed. You will get a Pet Rules in instructions. 
NB! Please, note that linen/towels are not included in the price. So you should take it with you or it is possible to hire it for 200NOK per set. Please let us know. Cleaning is included but you have to prepare the place for the cleaning according to further instructions.
