Mooi op zichzelf staand vlak In A Fine Periode Country House

Durmast House is een knappe eigenschap bereikt aan het einde van de rit. Het huis ligt op een 4 hectare tuin, ontworpen door de beroemde Edwardian ontwerper Gertrude Jekyll en die is opgenomen in het Hampshire register van historische tuinen. Gasten zijn van harte welkom om te wandelen rond de tuin.
Dit comfortabele appartement heeft accommodatie op twee niveaus en is een royaal formaat. Vanuit de hal is een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een ontbijt tafel en vier stoelen. Op de eerste verdieping is er een grote woonkamer met een driedelige suite en een meer formele omgeving. Aangrenzend is de slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed en inbouwkasten met een eigen badkamer.

Idyllic Place to Stay

A perfect location in the New Forest, near Burley Village, pubs, golf and walking trails. The flat is fully supplied, clean and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the perfect spot to sit, relax and enjoy the aroma of roses, lavender and wisteria.I would highly recommend and will return in the future.

Great location, great place!

This was the second time we have stayed at Durmast House and we have really enjoyed both visits. The property is very comfortable, warm, quiet and has a lovely, huge garden to explore and enjoy. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Location-wise, it is perfect for exploring the New Forest and its villages as well as being in easy reach of the coast. We hope to stay here again in the future and that should be recommendation in itself. Thank you Philip for a lovely week.

Beautiful Gardens

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay a lot. The furniture was very beautiful. And everything was nice and clean. The kitchen is spacy and has all you need for cooking and baking. The location was very handy for us as well. We spend most of our days on walks around the area and didn't have to drive much. The garden is also a must to check out and a peaceful place to admire nature, watch the stars or read a book. Overall very relaxing. The owners are also very nice and supported with information. Our dog lived the holiday as well. There are plenty of areas around the property to take a dog out for walks.

This property is situated in Durmast House just outide the beautiful village of Burley. This property has manificent grounds and ample parking. Every possible utensil.is available. Hosts Phillip and Margaret are on hand to assist as needed. The flat is spacious and homely. Would definitely recommend and stay again

We had a wonderful few days in this very clean, well equiped and comfortable flat attached to the hosts' house. The host (Philip) was delightful, explained various aspects and that we were welcome to explore the extensive garden, and was on hand if we needed anything.

Super property

We stopped for a week at the end of May and felt relaxed and at home from the very first minute. The apartment was immaculately clean and comfortable, the shower (which hasn't been mentioned much in other reviews) was superb and the gardens were a delight. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All parts of The New Forest and coast were easily accessible. We would certainly be happy to recommend here to others and look forward ourselves to returning in the future.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely short break, in this very pleasant accommodation. Location is perfect for walks and discovering The New Forest. Lovely property in a fabulous location

Despite the horrendous rain we had a lovely time. I can see the garden will be beautiful in a few month - it was just starting to bud while we were there. The short walk to the pub was enjoyable (bring a torch), and Burley village is very friendly.

A very nice apartment. The wing of an 18th century Manor house with a beautiful garden. Large and comfortable. Very quiet location but convenient for new forest sights and coast. Everything provided but shower gel, salt, pepper and cooking oil would have been welcome.

Great Christmas stay

We stayed here for 5 nights over the Christmas period including Christmas Day. We were very pleased with the accommodation - very spacious, quiet and lovely and warm! The host, Philip, was very friendly but not intrusive in any way. The location is perfect for exploring the villages in the forest and for forest walks. Parking is right outside the door so very easy to unload the luggage. We hope to revisit at some point as we had a great time. Thank you, Philip.
