Delightful staff. Everyone was lovely. The Inn is central to Burley with really convenient parking. Lovely to be able to stroll out of the front door and around the quaint little shops.

Warm and cosy, perfect place to stay
I had a great stay at the Burley inn. As a solo guest I’d booked a single room. I was given a free upgrade as there was a double available. The room was warm, clean and comfortable and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was very tasty. The cooked breakfast in the morning included in my stay was perfect. I highly recommend the Burley inn.

In a nutshell, an excellent place to stay, perfectly place. Parking was easy, booking in simple,, staff from the start were excellent, friendly and accommodating in all manner. The room, albeit it small, was clean, tidy. The shower plug did block causing a minor flood, but that didn’t blur the standard. Food was good, fast service, which topped off an excellent place.

The room was clean and what you would expect from this type of accommodation. However the staff were exceptional in every way, to ensure we had the best experience during our stay. Definitely recommend it.

Smell of dampness in shower room, couldn’t stay there longer than using the toilet. Mattress felt old. Loud music downstairs till their closing time, it’s annoying. Old decor inside.

Lovely setting... But the shower door was to slim and there was no plug near the dressing table so I had to sit on the edge of the bed to use wall mirror not good as the wire was across the bathroom... But breakfast was great..

Nice hotel in a charming village
This was a nice hotel in the charming village of Burley in the heart of the New Forest. The room had a very compact en-suite shower room but it was clean and modern and did the job. Our room on the top floor had lots of sloping ceilings so we had to be careful not bang our heads but it was a reasionably sized room so not really a problem if we were careful. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly.

It is in the centre of burley great for getting about.. our room was at the top so had sloping ceiling one side of bed

Hidden gem. Fantabulous accommodation
Pleasantly delighted. Absolute hidden gem. Superb room and bathroom. Great quality linen and very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Will definitely go back to stay another night.

The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The shower was the only downside, bit small, some mold and slow to drain. I would stay here again. I might requests a room with a larger bathrooms. The hot breakfasts were really good.

Good stay at the Burley Inn
Right in the heart of the village, we had an easy & speedy Covid compliant check in. Lucy welcomed us and shared with us what to expect with the new guidelines - she was clear and precise which is what we liked. Our keys were found in the room itself and everything was clean & decent. We had both dinner & breakfast the inn and we were not disappointed with our expectation of a good pub grub. Orders were taken at the table and we had a good time. Burley village is small but this is a lovely inn to stay a night / two to explore walks in the area (and the cider farm 200m down the road where we had a fab time tasting cider).

Very friendly and helpful staff. All clean and tidy with socilal distancing in place. The evening meal was very nice and tasty. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. The room was a bit on the small side but good enough for an overnight stay.Only negative thing the room was very cold no heating on.

Pleasant stay, despite room being too small
The Burley Inn staff made us feel welcome from the beginning of our stay and despite all the new regulations COVID related, it was a very pleasant experience. The only negative aspect it was the size of the room and bed, which were too small for two people as advertised. Food was nice (pub quality) and bar prices same as in London.

A nice inn
A very pleasant place, staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was nice and well-equipped but it was on the top floor, giving a good view of the village but with limited headroom. Would not recommend for anyone with a bad back or mobility problems.
