People are the breakfast were not friendly and it was not easy to find a free table. Rooms are too small. The lifts are not enough for the number of people. Considering the price they charge it is not worth the money.

GREAT stay
Absolutely wonderful hotel, 2 min from the beach. The staff is beyond friendly and speaks english - which is rather unusual in Rio. Only minor problem: wi-fi doensn’t do the job...

Ipanema Inn = Out
Room was not very clean, the hotel was noisy&the beds were highly uncomfortable. The staff was not very helpful, their English was poor and one of them even tried to hustle us with a taxi ride to Rio's bus station. On the other hand the shower and breakfast were good, but the best thing of this hotel is the location, only one block away from Ipanema beach. But all over: poor quality for a relatively high price, especially taking the service charge of almost 30 real a night into account, that we had to pay above the room price upon check out.

The location of the Ipanema Inn is fantastic - it's just a couple of blocks from the beach and they offer complimentary umbrella and chair service. The breakfast was one of the best we've seen at a hotel and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

Amazing spot in a super safe area that is incredibly walkable. There was some construction on the building next door so it was a little loud but that’s beyond the hotel’s control. The staff is so kind and nice, Lucas at the front desk helped us out and every other staff member was incredible.

Ótima localização. Quarto minúsculo. Banheiro com vazamento qdo dava a descarga saía água no piso. Pedimos o café da manhã normal do hotel e o empregado trouxe tudo de uma só vez. Péssimo serviço. Confuso. Não indico nem volto.

A minha experiência no Ipanema Inn foi muito agradável. O atendimento é bem diferenciado, desde a recepção quanto aos atendentes do café da manhã, esse, servido na mesa de forma muito boa e elegante. Vista para a rua bem agradável. Quarto novo, tamanho pequeno porém não mais do que necessita. Cama confortável, banheiro confortável, janela sem ruído e barulho. Talvez tenha acústica nelas , pois era tudo muito silencioso. Noites muito bem dormidas. Limpeza boa! Muito caprichosos ao deixar um recado no quarto de boas vindas com um mimo ( no meu caso um potinho com chocolate) Pequenas diferenças fazem desse hotel em formato boutique uma ótima pedida para passar os dias no Rio de Janeiro. Localização excelente ! Com certeza voltarei para me hospedar nele.

Excelente Hotel em Ipanema
Os quartos não são grandes, mas são extremamente bem acabados e com visual clean e moderno. Cama muito confortável, ótimo banheiro e o ponto alto fica por conta do café da manhã que é à la carte com ótimas opções, muito melhor do que o sistema de buffet "all you can eat". A localização também é excelente.

Top Location, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, rundum gute Betreuung durch das Personal, die Rezeption sehr hilfreich bei der Organisation von hotelfremden Aktivitäten, das kulinarische Angebot wirklich top! Immer wieder gerne! Aber wie bei vielen Unterkünften in Brasilien kaum ausreichender Schallschutz der Fenster. Man ist eben in einer Großstadt mit entsprechendem Straßenverkehr ;-)

We had a great time at the property. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with great options. We had dinner at the property one night and the food was also great. We stayed in the standard room (comfortable bed and sheets, the shower pressure was great and the cleaning stuff did a great job every day during our stay). We loved the location ( 2 min walk from the beach and lots to do around the hotel). It was also great not having to worry about renting beach chairs and umbrellas as they provided both.

Had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. I had no issue as someone who does not know Portuguese. I would like to point out the exceptional hospitality in Margiore. She was fantastic and made me feel so comfortable coming in from a 15 hour flight from the US. I will definitely be returning the next time I come to Rio!

This was our third stay at Ipanema Inn. We like this hotel a lot. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is also located in a very good place in Ipanema. One block from the beach with lots of options around the hotel to eat out, shop, and other activities. The food they serve at the hotel is good too.

Where do I Start? This hotel is 10/10. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean, rooms are clean, breakfast was good. It’s steps from the beach and plenty of restaurants around. You can also get a free voucher to go to a gym 2 blocks away. Luana is the best. She was so amazing and helped me plan my daily activities. She went above and beyond always. Please give her a promotion and a raise.

Perfect hotel and amazing staff
Hip and comfortable hotel in great Ipanema location. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is also very good and made a change from catering options at other Rio hotels. Well worth the price.
