'Loved the serene location tucked away in Meigs County. It's incredibly peaceful with lots of space to walk on the property. We were able to watch the stars for a bit with so little light pollution around. The cottage is a really nice change of pace rather than dealing with overpriced hotels in Athens. 'We waited a little late to make our reservation for the festival in Ashland KY and had an hour drive both ways. Turned out to be very fortuitous! We loved the property! Wonderful accommodations! Nice three room upstairs apartment in an old historic house by the river. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 'I cant say enough about my stay and me and maria have not stopped raving about the entire weekend. I was not able to keep the fire going all night but i appreciated it being lite for us . It was so cozy the Shade winery was another compliment to the stay, the owner of Shade even directed me to the nearest store and he even called to make sure they were open and had beer. We also went to old mans cave sunday , we willbe back in the summer to enjoy the green trees and warmer weather. Thanks...

'Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. '

'The home was nicely furnished with three living room areas, a complete kitchen with every thing you need, four bedrooms with comfortable bedding, three full bathrooms and linens supplied. We very much enjoyed the party house right on the river and the adjacent fire pit with comfortable benches. The driveway to the home is steep but very negotiable for cars and motorcycles. We enjoyed the time so much we are considering coming back next year.'
