'Went to the Selkirk Flat Retreat for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was perfect, nice and secluded and quiet. The wood burning stove was a nice way to heat the cabin. Just far enough out of town for seclusion but not too far away for restaurants and excursions.'

'This was an amazing venue for the reunion of two families and the best vacation ever! Plenty of places to sleep, nice big kitchen and dining area, air conditioned bunk house, fire pit and room for the kids and dogs to play! 'This is an amazing home and beautiful property. The views all around are breathtaking. The property managers are terrific people, very friendly and accommodating. So much wild life to watch out the windows, too! I had read a review about the dogs, and was worried about my small children. However, they are very well behaved and friendly. They did not jump up or bark at us. Nothing to worry about there. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely wonderful experience!'

Cons: Property was dirty, the access to the sleeping quarters is only an exterior staircase, and there were swarms of bees right outside the door.
