  • Rustiek Island thuis zitten op de top van de Rif, Scuba Duiken Vissen, snorkelen en ontspannen !!!!!!! Dit volledig ingerichte huis is gelegen op Oak Ridge Key. Het huis is alleen toegankelijk met de boot van Oak Ridge, waar er is parkeergelegenheid / taxi / bus. Oak Ridge is een Engels sprekende garnalenvisserij en vissersdorp met Quint huizen gebouwd rond een grote haven op meerdere toetsen. We zijn naast het Reef House Resort, 30 minuten van de luchthaven, 20 minuten van winkelen in de Franse haven.

    De prijs is gebaseerd op het huren van een huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers voor een groep van 6 personen. Voor extra gasten en kamers geldt een toeslag.

    Het huis is een 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers huis met een vrijstaand gastenverblijf met 4 slaapkamers en 4 badkamers. De woning kan als een 3/2, 4/3, 5/4, 6/5, 7/6 slapen tot 20 personen op basis van beschikbaarheid worden gehuurd. 2 King, 7 Queen en 1 dubbel bed alle van de slaapkamers zijn voorzien van airconditioning. Er is een volledig uitgeruste keuken, binnen en buiten dineren. Er is een grote veranda met uitzicht op het turquoise water van het Caribisch gebied, een zee zwembad en uitzicht op de bergen van Honduras. Wij zijn gevestigd aan de zuidoost kant van Roatán waar de passaatwinden houden het koel en comfortabel. Het is de perfecte plek om te kijken voor wilde dieren dolfijnen en andere zeedieren, kolibries, heremietkreeften, gekko's, leguanen en hagedissen.

    Het eiland ligt op de werelden tweede langste Barrier Reef, het huis zit op de top van het rif zodat je letterlijkheid lopen naar de oceaan aan de voorkant van het huis en u bent op het rif. Het maken van de dagelijkse snorkelen beschikbaar.

    Activiteiten in de buurt beschikbaar met voorafgaande afspraken Diepzeeduiken, vissen charters, Jeep verhuur, zwemmen met de dolfijnen, duiken met haaien, canopy tours, paardrijden, Iguana boerderij, tropische tuinen.

    U vindt Roatán is een mooie, charmante, veilige plek om te bezoeken met vriendelijke eilandbewoners.

    We hebben een conciërge die woont op het terrein en verzorgt het vervoer van en naar Oak Ridge. vervoer vanaf Oak Ridge Key en Oak Ridge is inbegrepen.

Fantastic Vacation!

My 85 year old mother and I had a wonderful time staying in Roatan. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The views were spectacular and we were taken care of like family. There was so much to do and so much to see, however, we were still able to live the Island Life and relax and enjoy out time there. Kudos and thank you to George, Courtney, and Abrian for making our trip one to remember!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Jerri was easy to deal with and answered every question we had. Mabel cooked dinner for us on 2 separate nights and the food was phenomenal! She was easy to reach, friendly and helped with anything we needed. George was great as well. He took us wherever we needed to go and even gave us a tour of the mangroves. We suggest stopping at Hole in the Wall for lunch if you do this. The house was clean, quiet and in the perfect location. We took a snorkeling trip but the snorkeling right from the house was even better. We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Breeze Villa!

A group of 10 us has the most wonderful time here! Communication with Jerri was the best I’ve ever had with any host both before and during the trip. Mabel and George, the house managers, were able to accommodate our every need and were always available. Mabel made dinner one night too and it was the best meal we had the whole time we were there! The ac worked great in the rooms and the kitchen was well-stocked. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property - we’ll be back!

Hidden gem

This was my second time staying here and it never disappoints! The staff and host are so kind and helpful and always eager to improve your stay in any way they can. The property is super comfortable, clean and spacious and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The view of the ocean from the porch is stunning and it’s so nice to be able to just walk a few feet to the water whenever you want. One of the best parts is that you’re right on the reef so you get to see all types of aquatic animals. This has become one of my favorite places to stay my whole family loves it because it offers something for everyone. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in Roatan. Jerri was very responsive and helpful with communication. Mabel and George were very helpful during the stay with setting up transportation, checking in during the stay and giving recommendations. We will definitely go back. I wish we would have booked our stay longer there. We brought snorkeling gear with us, which was awesome to use in the beautiful water to watch fish and seashells. Roatan was the highlight of our Honduran Adventure.

Wow! Amazing property and staff!

We brought a group of 13 including a 1, 4 and 10 year old. The house was amazing for us! The staff could not have been better. We opted for the cooking and cleaning service for the week which changed our lives for the week. All of Mabel’s meals were amazing. The couple of times we ate out, we were wishing we had stayed in! If you dive, the dive resort next door is literally 20 steps from the house. The snorkeling from the pier was amazing as well and we same eagle rays, beautiful coral and tons of tropical fish and critters. We will be back!

What a trip

We were 2 familes totaling 11 with kids ranging from 10-18 years old. We cannot say enough great things about our expierence here. Jerri was a great host and super responsive but Mabel and George were the best. Mabel from her amazing meals to helping plan out our days made relaxing and exploring so easy. George was always around to take us by boat or just to talk with the kids who became very fond of him. House was well equipped with anything you need. If you are looking for something away from teh hustle and away from the tourists this is the place for you

Relaxing

Staying on this east side of the island, away from the busy west side, was very relaxing. We were all able to relax on the deck, watch the ocean, and soak in the Honduran mountains. The experience provided us with much needed down time. When we take vacations, it's the people that we remember the most. Mabel and Samantha made amazing meals while George made our kids laugh. They are all so accepting. Lastly, Jerri provided the quickest responses that I have ever experienced from a VRBO host. Roatan will not be forgotten.

Excellent "off the beaten path" stay

The house is tucked away with terrific views and snorkeling right off the porch! Mabel and George, along with Dottie and Sammie took excellent care of us (absolutely worth hiring them!). There was plenty to do and see. (We would advise, doing one shopping trip for specific items like a special wine and otherwise leave it to Mabel. We would also advise staying in West End for a night or two if your group requires more instant entertainment and then spend the rest of the time at Jerri's relaxing. We were content to relax and there are excursions in Oak Ridge.) Overall, a great trip; we're hoping to get back!

Best family vacation spot ever!

Jerri was very communicative and helpful. We arrived on Thursday greeted by our driver, Dray, at the airport who gave us some interesting facts as we drove across the island to the East end. George, our private water taxi driver and groundskeeper greeted us at the water taxi spot and boated us over to OakRidge Cay. Mabel greeted us at a beautifully maintained main house where the 6 parents slept and a guest house where the 4 young adults slept. There is an ocean pool out front where the view was exquisite! We then spent some time next door at the Reef House Resort and Restaurant. We drank some tasty island drinks and highly recommend the monkey lala drink! Played some cornhole while Mabel, Dottie, and Sammie cooked a wonderful dinner for us. In fact we were treated to the most outstanding island food all week by these great ladies! Excursions to West Bay and Camp Bay beaches were great as was the mangrove and island tour. We did some fantastic snorkeling around Roatan too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in a couple of years!

Read all the reviews prior to choosing this home. We have nothing but good things to say about the people and the place. Mabel the House Manager was nothing but kind and attentive. George was also awesome. We are not a very needy couple and we were allowed to be "US." We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary while there. The natural pool out front was like a mini aquarium and we snorkled. You can venture out further if you like. We had a group of 12 and were provided 5 of the 6 rooms. I was surprised because that meant some people that were not related shared a room, but with that said it did work out because no one spent a lot of time in their room. Also, one of the back top rooms had a leak coming from the toilet that went into the downstairs room making the toilet in that room not useable. We were offered the other room. Since we were there only 3 days my son chose to stay in that room and used the main house toilets. The other thing worth noting for large groups is the boat provided for pick up was not large enough for our group and luggage so we ended up paying someone separately for the 7 minute boat ride which ended up being 25.00. Not a huge deal we probably could have waited on the dock and George could have made multiple trips but for us it was hot and we just wanted to get to the house. With all that being said none of these things ruined our trip or made it feel like a negative. The house was exactly like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable. Far exceeded expectations!!

Wow! Where to start! This house was clean, well maintained and clearly loved by the caretakers and locals! The communication with the property owner was excellent, she was prompt and knowledgeable. The staff was INCREDIBLE! From our driver (Dave) to our personal caretaker (George) and the other impressive staff (Courtney and Miss Dottie) - they made the whole experience! We had no idea what to expect but the whole process was SEAMLESS! From our car transport, to the grocery store, to the boat transport and unpacking! They were all there with smiles! The Reef House next door is perfect! The food is great, the drinks are awesome and their staff and owners goes above and beyond! This was our group of 6’s first time to Honduras and we had no idea what to expect! This East side house was perfect for everything we wanted! We went fishing, did a tiki tour, bar hopped around the keys and so much more. WE WILL BE BACK! Couldn’t be more impressed with the whole process!

Wonderful Getaway Into Nature and Relaxation

THE VIEW! I must say that the porch is outstanding..... We ate nearly all our meals there while enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean. It has an unblocked view that is huge and the porch is deep to protect you from the sun. My husband and I and our family snorkled over a reef in front of the house and could see many fish and beautiful ferns and plants. There is also a shallow pool directly in front of the house that our grandchildren played in. There are lots of good places to go sight seeing close by. The house is very open and friendly. You just start relaxing as soon as you get there and take a breath of the fresh ocean air. The furnishings are very comfortable and it has a great kitchen..... I remember one meal in particular-Redfish VeraCruz made with the fish my son caught that day. Wonderful memories. The house was very clean and well taken care of and adequately supplied.. The caretakers did a great job in helping with all our needs. We were there a week and the time just flew by we were having such a good time. We recommend this property to anyone that loves the ocean, nature experiences, relaxation and new adventures. Our time there was great......
