Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We spent 14 days at Splash Inn over December–January, and this was our third stay and there’s a reason we keep coming back! The rooms are clean, the staff is wonderful, and the food is consistently delicious.
The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, with everything you need just a 2–5 minute walk away. West Bay is easily accessible by a $5 water taxi that departs right outside the hotel, and the airport is only a $25 taxi ride. The dock space is the best around and perfect for watching stunning nightly sunsets or relaxing with a good book in the sun. You can enter the water directly from the dock or take a short two-minute walk to the beach. In the evenings, it’s a treat to watch a beautiful stingray swimming by, along with an array of colorful fish.
If you dive, this is hands-down the best dive center in Roatán ….you won’t find better, even on Utila! Chris, who runs the shop, is always present and makes sure you feel comfortable while addressing any concerns. Dive instructors Stella and Gem, along with dive guides Sterling and Tuna, were consistently professional, attentive, and thorough. You always know what to expect with no surprises. Gear is taken to the boats and set up in advance, making everything seamless and stress-free. Captain Brian not only expertly navigated the boats but also assisted with gear and ensured safety was always the top priority. With up to three dives a day and night dives when available, it’s easy to log plenty of dive time.
