'I really enjoyed the daily breakfast and the housekeeping crew was great! Our room was cleaned pretty much everyday which I really appreciated. The grounds were also really pretty and I loved being able to walk into town each day. The only downside, truthfully, was the lack of communication between the front desk and the dive shop. I was a bit caught off guard at the end when I was settling my bill. I got the things figured out but it was definitely a little bit of a headache.'

'I have stayed at Los Corales several times(locally called The Tortuga). It is a nice clean place with a helpful staff. One thing to make sure to ask to get a room on the back side of the hotel. The rooms which face the road do have some traffic noise which may or may not be a problem depending on what you are used to. It is not excessive but I am from a rural area and just not used to it. 'We booked this based on a 9.8 rating. If I’m comparing to Kimpton which was rated 9.2 it was not accurate. While the Beach House was nice, I believe the housekeeping could be improved. They need some updates, including towels. They were discolored and had a lingering odor. The food at the restaurant was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again but with reset expectations.'
