Beautiful view
The view is absolutely why you enjoy this cabin. It is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful there. The cabin is nice in size and finishes. The kitchen is a good size and has what you'd expect at a VRBO. I would have preferred not to have so much extra stuff stored in the closets. Christmas decorations, cleaning stuff, etc. I kind of felt like I was using someone else's storage space. The beds were very crisp and clean but were hard. My husband and I both had difficulty sleeping. People that prefer a very firm bed will be happy. That's just not us. The bathroom vents and air return vents were pretty dirty which was a bit off putting. Surprising because the rest of the cabin was very clean. If the beds had been more comfortable we would have been very happy with our stay!

Amazing stay
AMAZING is the best way to describe Misty Ridge. Chris and Misty were great host they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. The home, property and views is absolutely beautiful. We had a group of 6 adults and the home was more than accommodating. We have stayed at alot of different places around brimestone and hands down this was by far our best experience yet. The kitchen is well stocked with all dinner ware and utensils. The beds were very comfortable. The home has alot of seating. There is nothing more you could ask for. Thank you Chris and Misti for sharing your home with us we would love to come back.

My wife, our puppy (Brody) and I stopped here for 2 nights on our way to Tennessee. The Cabin and property are absolutely amazing. The Cabin was originally built in 1750 and has been totally restored to its original state (even time period appropriate furnishings) with a modern kitchen and bathroom. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and walking the property with Brody. I would recommend The Stave for a fabulous dinner and drinks, visiting the nearby wineries, Woodford Reserve Distillery, Rolling Oven Tap Room for pizza and beer or and just taking a drive to see all the beautiful horse farms.

This property is tucked away in the mountains of TN. Beautiful property with great views. Love the porch and fire pit area. We used those the most and there was plenty of firewood. The house was clean and just like the pictures. The kitchen is fully stocked with all things you need to prepare a meal. I would just ask that they get some BBQ Utensils for grilling, we couldn’t find any. The Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Overall great house and great views. Would rent their property again. On the other end…nothing is very close to this property and for some that is perfect for other it’s not. We drove 1:15 mins one way into the Knoxville to shop and eat one of the days, We drove 30mins to a Walmart. I would recommend bringing the food items you need for the week, running out to grab something is literally 30mins plus. Other than that a great place to stay!

Family Getaway
This property is so cute! The layout of the house was perfect for our stay and the location as well. We rode our UTV at Brimstone. Highly recommend traveling to trail 10 to access the trails, as 99 was very overgrown and not used frequently. The only thing we would have liked better was a king bed in the master and more comfortable beds, they are very firm. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and etc. The back deck is very relaxing and the area is quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

We found this listing and it was perfect for 2 brothers and 2 sister in laws. The beds were super comfortable. The house and furnishings very clean. The view was incredible. Access to the Brimstone trails was down the road as promised. Would highly recommend this property. Trail 99 was really gnarly. Get a Brimstone map or app as our Polaris Ride Command did not have all the trails listed.

Fantastic country hide away
My family loved this property. There were so many fun places to explore outdoors. It was quiet with amazing views. The surrounding area was bucolic, with goats, dogs, and other animal grazing in serene pastures. The campfire was especially nice on the cool spring evenings. The home itself was clean and well decorated, with plenty of seating. The property was also better stocked with necessary items than most others. We will definitely return!

Just the cozy getaway we were looking for!
The house was gorgeous. The property was clean and well kept. The sunrises and sunsets from the deck were unreal! The view of the mountains was absolutely majestic. We had no issues mechanically or otherwise. We were left alone. No one bothered us, and we had the perfect unplugged Christmas. Our family joke was that it could be 8 o clock in the kitchen but 7 in the living room. The service is spotty at best, but we have no complaints. Our kids enjoyed themselves very much. The only thing I'll say is the listing states the beds are queens. They are fulls, not queens, and I feel the listing should be updated as such. Beautiful place, we would recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at this home. It offers amazing views with great sunrises and sunsets. Very easy check-in process. The home is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. Very quiet area which was perfect for relaxing. Located 18 minutes from Brimstones Recreation office. The home has plenty of parking. We would 100% stay here again.

The stay was great, just opened our eyes while staying here. The wind picked up due to light showers that knocked over a patio chair & dragged it so that was scary at night. The wind also opened up a patio door but we were up but nevertheless that was scary too. The property doesn’t have lights around so definitely bring a few flashlights, thank God I did! There was ppl camping in the woods below the house so you will hear them from time to time. No one bothered us on this trip so it was nice to unwind & relax.

Quiet and Secluded with a Spectacular View, 5++ stars
Our family visited Misty Ridge for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. It is a newer, clean property with a fantastic view. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, towels, etc. The Wi-Fi was very strong (no problem with connection on the deck outside), and the TV has Netflix. Living and dining rooms are combined and there is a front sitting storage area which was very helpful for dropping shoes, packs, leash, etc. There is a huge deck with a grill and plenty of furniture, as well as a front porch/deck. Large pasture across the street with no neighbors very close (very private). Trail around the property is perfect for walking the dog. Oneida has dining options (Preston's Steakhouse, Element Asia, and El Rey Azteca were all good). Highland Winery is not far and provided a fun day of wine tasting. Numerous trails also close in Big South Fork Park (Angel Falls, Northrup Falls, Gentlemen's Swimming Hole, Twin Arches were our favorites). The owners were very accommodating with quick responses and provided ample information. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this property.

Nice property on a great location with beautiful views. There are however no good stores or restaurants with easy driving distance. The property was tired inside with old bedding, towels, overused cooking utensils and furniture. It was superficially clean but had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. It lacks a washing machine and drier which is very inconvenient. The property has great potential it just needs a little care and attention!

We stayed here for riding trip at Brimestone. Perfect location as you can ride down the road and hit the main intersection down from waterfall and bypass trail 99 which is over grown. The cabin was beautiful with amazing views and plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

Misty Ridge Is Amazing!
Misty Ridge is by far our favorite rental property. The house is clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the views are incredible. The owners are great too!

Close to Brimstone
You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay than at Misty Ridge. Cabin is secluded and very quiet. We had a 24 foot trailer and had no problems with access to the cabin. Some parts of the road get very curvy but with slow driving you will be just fine. You will have quick access to Brimstone Trails (side note, use trail 10 instead of 99. Trail 10 is open all the way, 99 becomes very narrow and will scratch your buggy) Trail 10 is about 2-3 miles from the cabin. Chris and Misti were perfect to work with. Everything you need will be at the cabin. Bring extra paper towels, TP, and wash rags just in case. Also Chris provides enough firewood, you will not have to bring or buy any. Have a great time.

Great Cabin
I stayed at Misty Ridge in May 2021. This cabin is perfect in every way. I come to the area to ride at Brimstone and you can access the trails right from the cabin. It is so nice to take the SXS off the trailer and never have to put it back on until your ready to leave. The cabin itself is beautiful inside and out. The deck is a great place to eat, enjoy coffee and have a cocktail after a long day of riding. There is also plenty of space to back in your trailer and still have room for vehicles. I highly recommend Misty Ridge Cabin.

This rental was very nice, clean and had all the extras! *Spacious* back deck with gorgeous view. Nice fire pit for making s'mores and visiting. Firewood was provided. Nice and easy to navigate TV with YouTube and Netflix. Great place to make wonderful family memories!

The perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Very clean comfortable accommodations. Hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed listening to nature while taking in the amazing view. Hiked the nearby Twin Arches and would highly recommend. Looking forward to another future visit! Side note: GPS did announce our arrival about a mile or so before the property location.

Place is pretty rural area but can not beat the view from the deck. House was awesome as it seemed it was newly built. We rode ORVs and rode right from the house. We took 2 hikes around house, one no problem, 2nd hike we ended up with almost 70 ticks. Our fault for walking on the grassy trail. Would definitely come back!
