This is a terrible property. It is dated, dirty, and falling apart. Was originally scheduled for a 3 day stay. I had a family emergency and had to leave after one night. If it was not for the emergency, i would have left anyway. The room was disgusting and dirty. My wifes feet were black from walking on the carpet in the room. The furniture looked like it was from the 80's, chipped and falling apart. The base for the bed was a queen size with a king size mattress. Nothing is open during the week and the casino was a joke. All the table games were closed. Unless you just want to play slots, don't bother. There are other casinos in Tunica, so go there instead. This place should be 1/2 star......

They need to either shut it down for good or shut it down and do a complete overhaul of this property. It is filthy and rundown, and that’s just the main property. The room we stayed in was disgusting. There were several dead bugs on the bathroom floor. No water pressure in the shower. It appeared that the floor had not been swept in a while. The sheets had not been changed. There was blood on them. Pillows were hard as a rock. 0 out of 10…Would not recommend.

Room was OK. Only food was little grill or Mexican. No restaurant. Only 1 or 2 game tables open. Said they were full when asked about another room - not even 20 cars in entire lot. It was a ghost town atmosphere.

Terrible stay/experience at Sams. The service desk in main lobby closed around 9:00 and the toilet in my room did not work. Had to contact security to get help. I was moved to a new room but it was dirty. I requested a full refund however because I booked online I was told to request refund from Expedia. No hotel staff available. No one to help with bags and no valet.will never stay there again.

This property was convenient and inexpensive. But was just average in most other ways - somewhat worn, dated, not particularly clean, etc. the service was good. Dining options were practically non existent, but the Mexican place was delicious and the staff were wonderful. The slots area was nice and the waitresses were excellent. Overall it was ok. Nothing to write home about.

This may be the dirtiest hotel my wife or I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Upon entering the room we noticed the lamp shade had a yellow and brown stain on it. The bed couldn’t have had clean sheets. The toilet area had what looked to be urine splattered around with a weird yellow haze on an otherwise white toliet. No matter how much we turned up the heat, it stayed ice cold in the room. Every trash can outside the hotel room was full and normally a case of beer box on top. On top of all of that, the musty air was ripe. We got in late and were only passing through so I slept on the bed fully clothed and above the covers using my jacket for warmth. My wife couldn’t get herself to sleep in the bed so she slept sitting up in the room chair. Just don’t do it unless you literally don’t care about your health.

DO NOT STAY! More like Ghost town.
First off this was suppose too be a 2 night trip that turned too 1 night. It’s was terrible. It smells musty, it’s old and ran down, they claim too have 3 restaurants.. only 1 was open and they were out of half of everything. Free drinks in casino? Nope! We had too go too restaurant and pay and get one. Many slot machines down with yellow caution tape. My husband has low sugar and I went too find a vending machine, went too every-floor there weren’t any, and the one on the 4th floor was broke. Very unfortunate since the casino is in the middle of no where! When I went I made a comment saying it look abandoned and even the staff agreed. My room toliet wouldn’t flush, smallest tv that barely worked, bed felt like a rock. I ended up contacting front desk that same day we checked in saying we wanted too check out a day early and they refuse too refund me for the other night. (That we didn’t stay) Hotels.com reached out multiple times too get there approval for the refund.

I booked 3 rooms. One shower didnt work at all, the carpet in one room was soaking wet, the plastic on the chairs were ripped (cut my arm), the lamp shades had greasy fingerprints all over them, the hallways smelled like cannabis, the drinks had minimal alcohol in them, no buffett. I do NOT recommend staying here!!! We filed a complaint with Sams Town and they said it wasnt their problem bc we booked through Hotels.com!

Not the ideal stay.
I normally don’t do reviews, but this one was needed. The hotel itself.. outdated. The casino, a joke. We ended up going over to horseshoe’s casino because they have a much bigger playing area. Our room didn’t have any wash cloths, one of the pillows was covered in pink lipstick or blush from a previous stay. There was also a roach crawling on one of the beds. This was my first time here and will definitely be my last.

The property was run-down, poor television equipment, the heating and air conditioning was not working. My rooms was changed twice and it got worse! I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there. The toilet kept flushing on its own. It had hard water stains in the toilet and tub.

Sams Town is abgreat place to stay. It is currently undergoing renovations, but other than that, it still holds the nostalgic feeling of staying at a casino hotel of its age. I do wish they would ban smoking in the facility but other than that, no major complaints.

The hotel room had plenty of hot water and water pressure for the shower. The room felt and smelled musty stale. The room was dated and could use with a refurbishing from the lumpy mattress to the furniture, curtains, lamps etc. Dining was sorely lacking. It is sad to see the shape Sam’sTown Tunica has become! Someone described it as a Ghost Town..couldn’t be more accurate.

There is construction going on at this casino/hotel at this time (12/23). I've stayed here before in the past. This is the first time that I have had to complain about the noise in the early morning hours (7 am). The host at the front desk was understanding and was able to re-locate me to a different room away from the construction noise. 9am is a good time to start construction in a hotel when patrons are trying to rest. I hope management takes us into consideration.

I did like that my husband and I did not have to leave the hotel to go to the casino. However, there was no microwave or iron or iron board. We was able to get one from the lobby. I would not be returning to this property. Not to stay anyways.
