Even the carpet harkens to the beautiful duck egg blue/green colors and our room was a haven and oasis in the Memphis heat. Will be back, and will definitely stay at the Peabody!'

'I love the River Inn on Harbor Island. It reminds me of an older stately hotel like the Omni Grove Park Inn and the Martha Washington Inn. However, it is quite dark and the toilets are short (as in 14-15 inches high. So please take this into consideration. The restaurants here and around the hotel are terrific. But the best part has to be the employees that work there. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. We prefer this to the Peabody which is the only other hotel we have...
