I arrived at 11pm on Saturday for a 1 night stay to find the hotel shut up and nobody answering at reception . I waiting for 30 mins and still nobody arrived so I had to find an alternative . Very inconvenient

it was 2 couples in our party upon arrival we were offered rooms. at the annex. what was never mentioned that annex is former security guards house next to the property gate on very busy street. first floor room smelled like vine cellar, second room was on second floor with only spiral staircase access 1.5 ft. wide. try to take your 45 pound suitcase there!?? we declined this room right away and were offered two rooms on the third floor (clerk conveniently forget to mention to us that it's mansard) and demanded extra Euro 35 per room per night – three nights = E210. We just drove all day and we accepted. 10 minutes later my partner told me that AC in his room isn’t working-one more move. On the side note: how hotel can get 4 stars without central AC? All rooms had small split unit. When we came back to hotel next day we realized that in my partners room is unbearably hot even AC was set on 70. One more move. Front desk staff don’t or barely speaks English to the level that we were forced to ask her to call someone who speaks. One more thing. Hotel has Tesla Supercharger on the property = cars in and out at any time, sometime with loud music, but there no one at front desk after 10 pm= no good night sleep.

This hotel is not a 4 star - far from it. It is in dire need of work. Due to confusion between Expedia and hotel we were given a room in the annex section of the hotel - the rooms stank - they were damp and musty. We refused to stay in them. We were then given rooms in the hotel at extra cost. There is no hotel reception from 9.00pm to 7.00am and I believe we were the only people staying in the whole hotel. We asked for food and ordered omelettes which were undercooked and served with a salad that had seen better days and part of it looked like it had been frozen. The receptionist cooked them and gave them to us one at a time, so we didn’t even eat together. We had to eat them on our laps in the bar on sofas as the restaurant was closed. I do not recommend this hotel.

Our 2 night stay was a fiasco. 1. the beams in the room were so low we kept hitting our heads, We were told to be careful and laughed at. 2. sat outside to have drinks it took 20 minutes for them to find no Compari then rudely asked So what do you want? 3. because we complained of the beams they were nice enough to change rooms to a larger one across the hall but never texted or called to inform us. At midnight we find a note on the bed with key for other room. Moving our belongings across the door slammed shut with key in the light activation unit. That is when the real problems staarted NO ONE is on premises phone has only fire and police and reception {with no living person there}. With luck the first key had a number and person answered and said they would be there in 10 minutes. We waited 30 minutes in the room and finally I went down and there was said person standing at reception. Silly me but I would have thought she would have come up to the room. We asked for manager or owner, owner lives in another country, so no one to help move suitcases or speak to in English. 4. In the am 2 people I assumed the mgr. and our check in person were waiting. They could do nothing but refund the drinks and told us to contact Expedia. We feel if we were told of the accommodation they were making earlier we would have come and handled the move in the early evening not at midnight. Our selection of this hotel fit our criteria for a castle stay, location and a 4 star rating. not a 4 *

Cadre magnifique avec une très belle déco. N'arrivez surtout pas après 21 h, il n'y a plus d'accueil. De plus notre réservation n'était pas enregistrée. Le dommage a été réparé et nous avons été surclassé dans une chambre au chateau. Pas de room service non plus le soir. Chambre confortable sous les toits, literie correct, par contre aucune pression d'eau sur la douche

It is a beautiful and unique building done out in a unique monochrome style. There is no evening dining so a trip out is necessary. Pleasant area. Not the best value for money for thefacilities available.

Magnifique hôtel-château des bords de Loire.
Séjour non prévu à l'origine mais qui fut en fait fort agréable! L'hôtel est magnifiquement décoré avec goût et matériaux de qualité; les chambres sont spacieuses, grandes, bien agencées et bien pourvues en accessoires. L'accueil est irréprochable, le personnel étant attentionné et courtois. Le petit-déjeuner se fait dans une belle pièce, avec du choix pour tous entre les charcuteries, fromages, céréales, fruits, viennoiseries, pains... PARFAIT !!! Honnêtement, cette halte à l'improviste nous a vraiment et agréablement satisfaits. Il est évident que nous y reviendrons !

chambre 3 pavillon : sentait la moisissure, chasse d'eau cassée ( visiblement l'hôtelier était déjà au courant mais reloue la chambre...), quand vous prenez une douche,: la salle de bain était inondée. La déco n'est qu'une façade. Bref, une honte pour un 4 étoiles. J'attends toujours que la direction me rappelle pour un geste commercial

Grande déception vu le prix demandé. Pas de vue, déco kitch de mauvais goût, face au camping bruyant mais où l'ambiance semble être à la fête, petit déjeuner du niveau d'1 f1, photos mensongeres, ne vaut pas le tiers du prix demandé. A éviter.

Un établissement très beau et un gros coup de coeur pour la décoration de la chambre. Malheureusement la climatisation en mode chaud ne fonctionnait pas et la chambre était très froide. Nous avons eu une autre chambre qui, pour moi, était très inférieure à celle que j'ai payée à la réservation. Plus petite et avec un matelas très mou. J'ai été vraiment déçue du changement. La 2ème chambre n'est pas indiquée sur le site.

Nous avons apprécié le design original et le confort exceptionnel de l’hôtel. La guinguette et le parc de jeux d’en face offrent la possibilité de manger et de passer un moment de détente en plein air.

Le choix de cet hôtel à été fait grâce au super chargeur de Tesla et nous le regrettons pas. Nous sommes arrivés très tard, nous avons été attendu, on nous a proposé un repas à nous réchauffer à la vapeur nous avons choisi qq chose de lègé bio et parfaitement servi. Les chambres sont parfaites Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors d’un prochain déplacement.

Passez votre chemin, nous avons écourté le séjour de 2 nuits à 1 nuit.Noir c'est noir, murs noirs, cuvette WC noire, douche noire, mouches mortes sous la couverture, de nombreuses araignées derrière la tête de lit découvertes au moment de brancher le chargeur de téléphone. Pendant la nuit toutes les 5 minutes une vibration se déclenchait qui venait d'un appareil à éloigner les rongeurs. On n'était pas dans le bâtiment principal mais dans une annexe en rez de jardin avec une toute petite fenêtre. Pour terminer j'ai donné ma carte d'identité qu'ils ont oublié de me rendre et je l'attends toujours dans ma boite aux lettres malgré de maintes relances. Visiblement il manque du personnel compétent dans cet hôtel. Dommage pour cette belle propriété.

Told AFTER we checked in that there was no chef. Room was very dark with poor lighting not helping the mostly black room decor - like something from an adolescent boys fantasy. Very soft, low bed difficult to get in and out of. Furniture worn and chipped, grouting on bathroom floor discoloured. Limescale stains showing white on the black toilet spoke volumes. Would not stay here again. Surprised at the red Michelin 2019 sticker on the front door. Receptionist served breakfast as other staff had not turned up.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte e la camera è splendida ma ha l'aria condizionata centralizzata. O spenta o accesa cone vuole la proprietà. Le finestre non si possono aprire. La stanza presentava polvere vicino alle prese di corrente. Il personale non e stato reperibile per tutta la sera...
