The Aspen Select appears to be the more average version of the fancier Aspen Suites, which is right next door. Both are directly across the street from St. Maryโs Hospital, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were pleasant, and there is a nice variety for breakfast. What I did not like is that it was very warm on my floor (3rd) and in my room, in mid November. My room stayed at 77ยฐ the whole time I was there, which made sleeping difficult, and I think the hallway had to be 85. There was a thermostat in my room, but it was turned to 69ยฐ. I inquired at the desk about it and was told they could give me a fan, but they had no way of controlling it because it was a boiler heating system. Other than that, my room was comfortable and clean.
