The included breakfast was wonderful home cooking and the owners are incredible, being engaging and extremely considerate. 'The room was compact but very comfortable. It was spotless and very well appointed, with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and even a standing fan. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. Definitely a room for a solo traveller though! '

It had everything we needed, and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog was treated like a guest too, which we really appreciated. 'The Apollo was a 2 minute walk from train station and buses. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room (5) was clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of Tea, coffee and milk in room. Also a lovely touch was the biscuits, cartons of juices and bottled water. I would recommend the Apollo.'

'Very nice hotel to stay,friendly staff and happy to help when needed,walking into town is about 20 min and if you order a cap do it on time there they are really busy,we did this about a week upfront. Lunch and dinner in the hotel is suitable for VG,V and GLF so this was nice to see on the menu. We be back again for sure.'

'Een prima hotel van alle gemakken voorzien met uitzicht op zee. Op loopafstand van het centrum, de promenade, het treinstation en bushaltes. Ik kon vroeg inchecken, omdat de kamer al gereed was. Op de dag van vertrek kon ik mijn bagage later ophalen. De kamer was eenvoudig, met schone badkamer en ik ervoer het als een comfortabel verblijf. Beneden bij de receptie is een huiselijke zitruimte. 'We stayed for one night and were upgraded to a king size. A beautiful place to stay, lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent and there was a good vegetarian variety. Super friendly staff, thanks Louise ;) We ate a small dinner there, because we were a bit to tired to go out for dinner. It was good, but the portions were a bit small. We are not big eaters, but this was too little , even for "normal" eaters. Risotto was not risotto rice, but regular rice.. Work on this and it will be perfect :) ...

'After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel.
