Gezellige gezinscabine - Afgelegen toegang tot het strand, wacht op uw familievakantie

De Balcomb Family Cabin is gebouwd in 1910 en maakt sindsdien familieherinneringen.

Deze bijzondere hut beschikt over twee slaapkamers op de bovenverdieping. De familieslaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en drie eenpersoonsbedden. De tweede slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed. Baden op elke verdieping maken het opfrissen een koud kunstje. Wasmachine en droger in het bad op de benedenverdieping helpen iedereen zandvrij te houden wanneer ze niet op het strand zijn.

Er is onbetrouwbare tv-ontvangst. De cabine is gevuld met een dvd-speler en verschillende vintage films.

Grote tuin is perfect voor een potje badminton of speeltijd voor de kinderen.

Strand is een blok verderop, toegang tot de wijk ligt op 5 minuten lopen.

Gelegen 2 mijl ten zuiden van Rockaway Beach-dicht bij gezinsvriendelijke restaurants, antiquing en parken.

We love this cozy beach cabin! It’s a 5 minute walk to a beautiful, quiet sandy beach. The cabin is comfortable and equipped with just about anything you need. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Portland (90 minute drive) and visited on the weekends. The home has a large assortment of games, which we played every night, along with a BBQ. We brought our streaming device (Google TV) plugged into the TV and had all the channels we needed plus local stations. We could hear the Rockaway Scenic Train whistle which was one my favorite parts of our stay. Also a close drive to Manzanita, Cannon Beach, Rail Ridder, antique shops, Pronto Pup, and MUCH MORE. We love this home and hope to return. Thank you for a great VRBO experience!!

Better than advertised

This house fits into the region perfectly and was a wonderful place for our stay at the Oregon coast. I stayed here for a few weeks with my 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl. The house is nicer than it looks in the photos and provided us a wonderful taste of life at the coast. The beach is extremely close and the town is just a very short drive away. Near lots of other small towns and many state parks/nature attractions worth exploring, too! Cons: there's a lighthouse about a mile away that beeps every 20 seconds, almost all night and day! It can be fairly loud, depending on the direction of the wind. Took us awhile to be able to sleep through it in the mornings. I also recommend sharpening ot updating the kitchen knives, they were hard to use due to dullness.

Beautiful family vacation

We really enjoyed out stay here. It's an old house but it's clean and has lots of charm. We really liked the location as it's not in the hustle and bustle (like Cannon Beach) but close enough to good shopping and restaurants and nearby towns. Rockaway beach is a very nice beach that is not at all crowded. Just a mile walk to the south gets you to a rock jetty with lots of creatures to looks at. We received the instructions prior to arrival and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and the price was fair.

Loved the location of this property and it’s proximity to the beach and other little towns along the coast. I took a walk on the beach every morning I was there as it’s just about a 3 minute walk. The local train passed by the house daily so that was a fun bonus. House was clean and had great water pressure for showers.

The home was perfect. I loved the cottage, vintage feel. It felt incredibly homey. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The home is a very short distance to the beach. Amazing experience!

First impressions I thought my family and I were going to be a little cramped (4 kids and 3 adults) in this 2 bedroom house but looks are deceiving! This home has plenty of space and is very charming and cozy. Short walk to the beach. Very friendly neighbors and plenty to do around. We traveled a few days but mostly spent our vacation at the house. It was wonderful! Will definitely book again!

Great little spot

Great little spot to spend your time on the Oregon coast. Rockwaway beach is great, but it is also a great location to discover all the amazing spots on the northern coast. it's a little 100 year old cabin, but well taken care of with all it's quirks and charm. Hope to come again.

Welcoming with All the Extra Touches of Home

It takes a special generosity to open one’s home to strangers. We appreciate all the extra touches you added for us to be comfortable and feel at home. We had the unique opportunity to experience the famous Rockaway Beach July 4 celebration, parade, and Firecracker Wiener Nationals! We especially appreciated the instructions so that we could easily take a brief walk to the wonderful nearby expansive beach! This stay also enabled me to do a book signing at Beach Crafters shop for my three Dachshund Tall Tales books. We had excellent customer service and a delicious meal at the Sanddollar restaurant. And ate Tillamook ice cream every single day at the Sea Breeze Icecream shop!
