Downtown Rockaway Beach ligt op korte loopafstand, waar u verschillende eetgelegenheden, leuke antiek- en cadeauwinkels om te verkennen, benodigdheden en meer vindt. Maak een ritje op de Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad of rijd 10 minuten in zuidelijke richting naar het vissersdorp Garibaldi, waar u meer eetgelegenheden en winkels vindt. The Great Escape

I booked this place in November for a get away from the election. We expected it to be rainy and cold so we wanted to be by the beach so that we could see the ocean from inside. This place has amazing views of the beach/ocean and you can even see Twin Rock from the living room windows! We were lucky and it was mostly sunny so we were able to enjoy the beach. You pretty much step outside and you're at the beach. We also took advantage of the firepit and enjoyed plenty of Smores. The kitchen also had everything we needed to cook with which isn't always the case. Looking forward to staying here again!

Baseboards dirty by Kitchen garbage can. One of the beds in the room with bunk beds very uncomfortable, for an adult. Otherwise, the house was very pleasant and suitable for my family.

July Beach Visit

Beautiful view from a roomy and comfortable home. Well equipped for our needs. Could have used coffee filters, a sponge or scrub pad and soap in the showers ( we used the antibacterial hand soap). View was truly incredible as were the sunsets! Overall - awesome and we would stay here again!

Wonderful house on the beach with everything you need for a fun family vacation. Lots of extra beach towels, a game room for the kids, and a well stocked kitchen!

Much needed escape!

My family and I took a trip for my girlfriend’s birthday. This location allowed us to bring all three of our dogs and had plenty of space to accommodate us all without feeling cramped. The house, while a few areas could have been cleaner upon arrival, was beautifully decorated and the open floor plan in front of the windows was to die for! Waking up in the mornings and walking out to the ocean pretty much on our doorstep was a dream! The house is a corner lot next to a public opening to the beach so their is a lot of foot traffic with the windows open but if you don’t mind that it’s conveniently located near everything you could need for a perfect getaway!

Perfect spot!

This property was awesome! I stayed here with some fellow mamas and it provided us with a serene spot to watch the waves and recharge. The open floor plan allowed us to cook and chat. It was a great location and the drive to Cannon Beach for day shopping was only about 40 mins.

Spectacular views of the surf

We stayed for eight days in May 2022. We loved it. The home is comfortable and open with the furniture positioned for maximum use of the windows overlooking the surf. The furniture was ideal for a relaxing week. We never had a problem with the Wifi, water, heat, fans, or household appliances. You should bring some not-so-nice towels with you to use on your pets though as the ones provided are way too nice. The trail to the beach is close and not long but it is at the side of the house and is used frequently by others and a surprising number of dogs, most on a leash. The ping pong table is not of great quality and was a little wobbly but it was still fun to play as we are not great players. There are two foosball tables in the same small space as the ping pong table as well as a couch and two chairs. It was very cramped and retrieving errant balls under chairs and foosball tables was arduous, partly because we are not good at ping pong and had to chase the ball frequently. The town of Rockaway is very close as is the community park with access to the beach and a playground. The food trucks about town have great food and the small grocery store was packed and handy. One of the only negatives, and not really a bad one, is that the silverware is mismatched and there are only two large forks. Plenty of small forks though, a good selection of knives and pots and pans. There are only two chairs on the deck so you should bring some if you have more than two people. Overall, the place was great. Thank you!

Comfy house with a beautiful view

This was our first time using VRBO and it was a pleasant experience :) The check-in was easy and it was a fun place to stay. The house has everything we needed. Also, we received a quick refund when we decided to leave the dog at home.

Had a good trip location of the house fantastic. Upon arrival the downstairs bedroom floors need to be vacuumed because of sand bathroom floors need to be mopped and the ceiling fan was really dirty in the upstairs living room. We never use the central vac and Had a damaged complaint put it out against us for damage to the central vacuum cleaner. Dishwasher never worked.

Spring Beach Trip

Excellent location and lovely comfortable home. Everything was clean however there was a noticeable smell in the hallway and upstairs bathroom that most of us agreed was cat urine or spray. With this being a pet friendly home it’s to bad a lot of it is carpeted. It also could use some new frying pans, the Teflon pans were in bad shape and really not safe to use. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, nightly campfires in the fire pit, and the beautiful view from the upstairs. Overall a great place to stay!
