This house has one of the most stunning beach views I have ever seen. There was plenty of space that we did not utilize because it was only myself and my partner.
The pros: The view was breathtaking from both living areas and the master bedroom. I was skeptical when I saw the online photos because I thought they were edited. I was pleasantly suprized how wonderful it was. The firepit was great to have. Kitchen was very spacious and the couches were very comfortable. Plenty of utensils and cookware if you wanted to make a meal.
Plus, there were plenty of books, kids beach toys, board games, and such. I thought that was a nice personal touch.
Town and shopping was about a mile away so within walking distance.
The cons: There were ants throughout the kitchen and living room. It looks like they had ant traps set up, but it did not seem to phase them. Sometimes they would crawl on me when I was sitting on the couch, but I wasn't worried as they were very small and did not seem to bite. I figured it was just part of living on a beachfront property. But, if you are funny about bugs in general you might not be super thrilled.
Beds were fairly hard. Not the most uncomfortable bed I've slept in, but I also prefer a softer mattress in general so that might be due to preference.
This isn't the property owners fault, but the house next door was under construction so it was fairly loud in the morning. I can't be mad because we rented this place for very cheap considering what it normally costs.
I would have loved to have had a gas grill!
Despite all of its flaws, this house was amazing. I would highly recommend and I'd love to come back and visit someday. Thank you to the homeowner for sharing it with us.
