Other things to notice:

➤ The cabin is accessible via a slightly sloped gravel driveway. You don't need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the cottage; A 4x4 would make getting around much safer and is recommended in case of ice or snowy weather. We share the driveway with the neighboring unit. We provide snow removal for snowfall over 5 inches.

➤ There are actively recording security cameras located only on the outside of the property by driveway and backyard which record video and audio. The cameras may be used by the owner to verify guest compliance with the rental policies. Do not try to cover these. Any damage caused to the camera by the guest may result in a partial or complete loss of a security deposit.

➤ Our place uses well water, typical for the Hocking Hills area. It may have a natural odor since it's not treated with chlorine like city water. Bottled water can be purchased at a gas station or Walmart, and we provide a filtered pitcher for your convenience.

➤ Environment Notice: Our home is nestled in nature, and occasionally, 'nature' finds its way inside. We make efforts to control pests with professional services. As we coexist with the environment, we kindly request keeping doors closed to minimize encounters. Please refrain from feeding the animals.

➤ Firewood and charcoal are not provided; guests need to bring their own.

➤ No refunds for weather, natural disasters, or power outages; consider travel insurance for cancellations.

➤ $200 charge for each rule violation, plus cleaning/damage expenses.

➤The homeowner has no liability for any injuries, or sickness that may occur before or during your stay. The homeowner has no liability for any damage to vehicles from parking or wildlife.
