  • This beautifully renovated home offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and backs up into a massive rock hill. It’s like you’re staying right in the caves. Our home features a large 7 person hot tub that sits just beneath the rocks for the most relaxing and serene view. Beautiful Amish furniture is furnished throughout the home. The bunk room, kids’ game room, and a separate family game room make this home a perfect getaway for families and friends of all ages. Situated on 11 acres and less than 3 miles to Cantwell Cliffs, 7 miles to Rockhouse, 12 miles to Old Mans Cave, and minutes to all other Hocking Hills attractions.

The host was great and so was the property! Plenty of room, we laughed and played family card games! The game rooms were a big hit and we enjoyed some snowy trails! The hot tub was fun! Definitely recommend!!
My daughter & I had coffee on the deck! We didn’t care that it was a little chilly!
Plenty of room for eating with cousins.
Special moment by the fire!! 💕 Family!

The house itself was great! Just a few things could have been a bit updated, like the stove and the heating in the basement. Host was awesome and very responsive! We had a great New Years Eve celebration!

Board game weekend

Rock hill retreat was a great place for our group. The bunk bed room provided tons of individual beds, and there were several tables and places for different board games to happen.

We really enjoyed the property and surrounding area. Love that the host includes towels, linens and basic toiletries bc it makes packing for a family of 5 a lot easier! Highly suggest this as a rental.

Planning Retreat for Masonic Lodge Officers

Excellent! Plenty of room for all to sleep and work. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and plenty of room to spread out for break-out discussions. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The house was awesome and on a great piece of land, the rock formations were impressive. We had a large group and there were plenty of sleeping options for everyone one.

Overall it was a very nice property. A couple of things we noticed: the coffee cups hanging by the coffee station were dirty. The bathroom with the shower curtain had mold on the shower liner. One of the beds downstairs had black stuff on the sheets. Game room was awesome!Thanks. Karen

Rock Hill Retreat

The property was very nice and roomy. The game room was fun and was used by the whole family. The internet was a bit slow but the property manager told us that it was satellite internet and not to expect high speeds. Overall, our stay was great.

Rock Hill Retreat

It was a nice place. Rooms were clean and check in and check out were very easy. They listed slow internet but there was actually no internet and no cell service which makes it very difficult if you need to check into work. If they had internet I would stay there again.

Girl Scout Celebration

We took our Girl Scout Troop to Hocking Hills to celebrate their last year as a troop. The girls are moving on to different high schools in the fall, and we wanted to have one last trip. The property was perfect! The bunk room was awesome for the girls - they were all able to sleep down there! The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and the hot tub was awesome. It is a perfect house for a big group!

We had a grand time. The cabin was decorated so nicely for Christmas. As soon as you walk through the door, the smell of cinnamon fills the room. All of the Christmas decorations really set the tone for a cozy holiday. The location was beautiful and very scenic. The beds and the linens were of high-quality along with the pillows. There were plenty of beds for everyone. There was a lot of thoughtfulness throughout The home. They left out snacks and complementary water bottles. There was also shampoo and soap and plenty of towels. There were games and so much to do inside and outside of the cabin. all of the appliances in the home worked properly. My only gripe about this place was that there was not a dustpan or a sweeper in sight. When you’re hosting Christmas with eight adults and 10 small children, there are crumbs everywhere and you have to sweep 10 times a day; not having that dust pan was an inconvenience. Outside of that, the cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and in working order. Our family enjoyed ourselves and we didn’t want to leave.

Family getaway

We loved the house and it was a great stay with our kids and their spouses. Only disappointment was the pool table leg was pretty wobbly and the other game table wasn’t great either with the side rail not being attached properly. We wished the firepit was closer to the house and not such a walk. But over all we enjoyed our family time (the no cell service and weak wifi was great for us since not everyone spent the time on their phones). We would definitely come back though.
