I don’t usually share my thoughts but I traveled as a single woman and didn’t feel safe at this hotel. Weed and cigarettes smoke hit me in the reception and my room felt like someone had done criminal things in there. It stank of some weird chemical and cigarette smoke. The walls were dirty, bed linens didn’t look clean and the cover had holes in it. There were cigarette ashes on the floor. There were hospital looking floodlight in the ceiling and no other light. I slept with my clothes on in the bed and left half way through the night. The back door to the hotel was open so people could sneak in. I guess I got what I paid for so learned my lesson. This hotel needs some tlc. The only good thing was it was quiet and the staff were ok.

Little Gem Give It a Try!
Decided to stay based on the positive reviews when compared to poorer reviews of national chains in the same price range. My total was $67 including taxes. I was a bit concerned when I first pulled in given the exterior was no frills. It was evening and VERY WELL LIT in all parts of the parking lot. Went inside and the clerk was extremely personable and friendly. EXCELLENT customer service the entire stay. The room had been remodeled and I was pleased to see no carpets to trap grime, the walls were Formica to make sanitizing super easy.... very interesting remodel but very very clean. Saw no bugs dead or alive. I had a Queen bed, very comfortable no sagging. All in all, if u need a clean place to sleep at an affordable price, this is worth the stop. Heard no noises to keep me awake, good cold air conditioning.... a good stay. Will definitely go back when traveling that area.

Bad experience with motel reserved by hotels.com
We actually never checked in. The conditions looked terrible. People were sitting in front of open windows with drapes pulled open at 7:30 at night. The lobby was not very nice. There was no bathroom for me to use in the lobby. I was told to wait to use bathroom after I checked in in our room. There was a plexiglass window in front of the clerk. This motel did not feel safe at all. Very upset with hotels.com to have such a place on their website. Still waiting for a supervisor to contact me. Needed to speak to customer service to help me get another place to stay and discuss a refund. Not the way I wanted to spend my time after a long time traveling.

Water in bath tub was running when we arrived and would not turn all the way off. Floor was dirty. Everything looked very old and not clean at all. Very rough looking crowd that made us feel unsafe. Lady at desk was fairly nice.

Okay for the price. They are upgrading and so far the upgrades to the bathrooms are nice. The room we stayed in had cigarette burns on the comforter so we took it off. The sheets appeared to be clean. Would stay again after renovations are complete
