'What a very special place. Our first time and we loved the rustic surroundings, ski vibe, great food and amenities including sauna, steam room and hot tubs. And did I mention the views! Staff were excellent too. We will be back. '

'This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!'

'the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were nice and large with nice beds. staff was disinterested, breakfast for $18 was nothing and was cold, no yogurt or fruit. 3 days in a hotel and no care in the room, trash can not emptied, bed not made and no towel change. '

'Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee tastes great, did not have the chance to try the ski slopes but the outdoor hot tub was an amazing experience. ALL staff were amazing, friendly especially front desk agent Eric, very knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. Will definitely come back to stay every year, if not more.
