Nestled in the heart of the Westerwald Nature Park, our lovingly renovated vacation home offers peace and relaxation surrounded by nature. Our home, “Am alten Schulhaus,” features a fully equipped kitchen, new furniture in the living room and bedrooms, and newly renovated bathrooms. You can relax on the large lawn next to the house.
Biking and hiking trails are right nearby. Restaurants can be found in nearby towns, and the beautiful town of Hachenburg—with its famous old town, the Westerwald Brewery, and the castle—is just a 15-minute drive away. The county seat of Neuwied on the Rhine offers many attractions, such as the zoo and the water park.
For interested families, groups of friends, and small teams, we offer a conference or group room (approx. 60 square meters) in the neighboring former school building. Catering is also available upon request. This allows you to combine meetings, workshops, and creative sessions with relaxation in a green setting.
Are you looking for special experiences during your stay? Depending on your booking date, we offer hikes, wine testings featuring select German wines, and a few hours with a shepherdess and her flock of sheep for an additional fee.

You can rent a vacation apartment for 2 adults and two children, or optionally rent up to three additional bedrooms. We’re also happy to rent you the entire vacation home. Prices vary accordingly. Affordable long-term rentals are available.
