Nieuw, ruim chalet aan het meer in Red River Gorge / Natural Bridge Kentucky

Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin is een nieuw gebouwd chalet aan Deer Water Lake in het Cliffview Resort-gebied van Red River Gorge, Kentucky en ligt op enkele minuten van Natural Bridge State Park, Zipline-kantoor en enkele van de beste wandelpaden en rotsklimroutes in de regio.

Dit prachtige 3-verdiepingen A-frame heeft 4 slaapkamers: 2 master suites met elk een kingsize bed en een eigen badkamer; en 2 slaapkamers boven met 3 queen-size bedden en 2 full-size bedden (een loft). Deze ruime hut slaapt 14 en heeft in totaal 3 volle en 2 halve baden, waardoor het de perfecte accommodatie is voor het houden van bruiloften, familiebijeenkomsten of weekenduitstapjes met vrienden.

Indoor voorzieningen omvatten een volledig uitgeruste keuken met granieten aanrecht, koelkast, gasfornuis, magnetron, vaatwasser, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster, mixer en alle kookgerei. Om het u nog gemakkelijker te maken, heeft deze moderne hut ook snel internet, een USB-laadstation, twee 4K-UHD ROKU-televisies met live streaming-kanalen, een stenen gashaard, een speelkamer met airhockeytafel en wasmachine en droger.

Outdoor voorzieningen zijn onder andere een groot terras met een prachtig uitzicht op het nabijgelegen meer, een metalen omhulsel veranda, gas grill, 6-persoons bubbelbad en een grote vuurplaats. Cornhole boards zijn ook beschikbaar voor gebruik, breng je eigen tassen.
Het 5 hectare grote Deer Water Lake ligt 75 meter verderop langs de heuvel van de cabine en is beloopbaar of rijdbaar. Daar kunnen gasten zwemmen, vissen, kanoën, kajakken of gewoon ontspannen aan de rand van het water. Een openbaar dock is ook beschikbaar voor gebruik. Breng indien nodig uw eigen zwemvesten mee.

Gemakkelijke rijtoegang met vlakke wegen. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid.
Roken is niet toegestaan in Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin.

Wonderful cabin!

Kentucky Straight Wilderness was the perfect cabin for us! Our two families of 5 had plenty of space and really enjoyed the location. We were close to many trails and activities like zipline and kayaking. The small lake was a hit and the dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. The trail from the house to the lake was steep, but well maintained. The house itself was fabulous. Lots of deck space and table/chairs. We used the covered portion a lot since it rained off and on during our stay. The game room was used often for air hockey tournaments. It was nice to have a door to close to the basement - the air hockey games could get loud! We made most of our meals at the cabin and it was nice to have a well stocked kitchen. We also never ran out of hot water— a pleasant surprise when you have 10 people needing showers! The only thing that could be improved is the dryer. The washer was great but the dryer took forever (70min) to get things dry.But we all agree we want to come back to this particular cabin - the location, swimming at the small lake, and cabin itself made for a perfect vacation!!

Great place to stay. The property was listed accurately and had so many nice touches that made it feel like home. I.e blankets to cozy up with on the couch, family games to play, and books to read. This was one of our favorite rentals because of the house layout and expansive porch area. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the kids had no problem swimming off the doc. The incline to the pond was a bit steep for my Mom, but the fact that she could drive down on a nearby road was a plus. Good location with lots of places to eat within a 10-20 min drive. I highly recommend.

Exceptional!

So much about this rental to rave about! From check-in to check-out, the directions and process were thorough and clear. The area felt very safe, and it was the cleanest rental I've ever been in. The place had a very well stocked kitchen (utensils, glasses, silverware, etc). Everything in the rental was in good working order, the beds were even very comfortable. The hot tub, dock/lake, porch swing, air hockey table, multiple televisions, and great view were the icing on the cake. The only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer!

Loved everything this cabin offered to enjoy our stay. “Generational” rain and flooding had us worried about coming to this area but once we were there and saw location we felt very safe and secure. Amazing Cabin Stay

We had a family of 12 stay in the cabin. Everyone was very pleased. Cabin was clean, had enough room for everyone to sleep, there was plenty of bathrooms. Cabin was very fully stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Would definitely come back and stay in this cabin. The kids loved the hot tub and air hockey table.

KSW ROCKS

This was our yearly trip to the RRG and Helene did her best to ruin our trip. Getting there on Friday was a chore only to arrive to no power in our cabin. Fortunately, it was back on by 7:30 and the festivities began. Saturday’s hiking was derailed by forest rangers having to close trails due to downed trees, so it was college football, air hockey, and snacks. This morning was a couple of short hikes for us old folks. You can never replace time and memories. Thanks to my children and their children. Also, if you ever need a cabin that can hold 14, check out Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin. Such great people.

Family and Friend Kentucky Adventure

We had the best time! The access to the lake is fantastic! The dock is perfect and we had a blast swimming, kayaking and jumping into the water! The house is very nice, big and has everything you might need. We enjoyed our stay very much! We brought towels but the house had them so that was a surprise.

Family getaway!

Our kids and grand kids came in town for my husbands 60th birthday. This cabin was the perfect getaway for us. Property was large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. This cabin is amazing! Super clean and beautiful. The best part of the property is the lake! It’s great and private dock perfect. The path to the lake is a little tricky but certainly doable. Would stay again.

Family get together

First time immediate family has been able to gather in a few years and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. All necessary amenities available, plenty of space and proximity to the lake and hiking. Owners terrific working thru a scheduling screw up. All necessary information available in advance made for a memorable stay. Absolutely, highly recommend the KSW cabin for a group.
