Excellent Stay
House is well equipped with everything you need. Simone is very responsive to questions if you have any. We had a great time getting together with family and friends. It was a fun weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Family time
We were in Missouri for a family wedding and it was great to be together. We enjoyed the house but were unable to enjoy some of the features. We would have loved to use the spa but it wouldn't heat. The host did, however, have someone come and check it out. Some cool nights we looked for extra blankets, and with 14 people staying in the house we had to purchase toilet paper twice! All in all our stay was good for such a large group, and we were impressed with the amount of space.

Clean and Comfortable
The house was very clean and comfortable. There were lots of windows that let in a lot of natural light. The layout was nice for my team to gather in one group and be comfortable. The back yard area was inviting and relaxing. I did need to contact the owner a couple of times and they got back to me within minutes with the answers I needed.

This property has peaceful views and lots of activity outdoors and indoors. Our family enjoyed our time celebrating our Dad's 80th Birthday. Note: there are lots of stairs, not very handicap friendly.

Amazing Getaway
This was our second stay at this house and it was even better than last. The addition of the pool deck was great. Relaxing by the pool while keeping an eye on the kiddos was very enjoyable. We took advantage of every space; fire pit, hot tub, play area downstairs and even a ping pong tournament in the garage. Can’t wait to plan our next trip cause we already have trash talk about the upcoming pickle ball court.

Amazing house!
We took a crew of 13 in our family for a week long getaway. We had ages 3 to 72. This house was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked. The hot tub and pool were well cared for and enjoyed all week. The bedrooms were well laid out where each family had plenty of privacy. Simona was always quick to answer any questions and do anything she could to accommodate our crew. I highly recommend this home for any family looking for an oasis!!

Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We were disappointed the hot tub was closed, that was a main reason we chose the Private Getaway - when we got there it was closed for the summer, this was not mentioned in the listing.

Great place for family reunion
Everything was fantastic! Lots of room, both indoors and out. Sparkling clean. Lots of towels, and extras for the pool. The owner was quickly responsive to any queries, and even offered to come get the garbage cans and take them down the lane for pick-up! The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking implements and even spices and condiments left by previous guests. Only negative (and the owners can't easily fix this) - upstairs, the AC just can't keep up on hot summer days, such that it was 77 or 78 when we were trying to go to sleep, while those in the basement were freezing. However, we liked the house so much (and location was near our elderly parents in Springfield) that we just may rent again next year!

Excellent escape for family reunion. There were 15 people and fit perfectly with room to spare in this house. Beautifully decorated. They had a swimming pool that was nice to go into at the end of a day. Short distance into town.

Wedding weekend
Grooms family stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend after a beautiful wedding in Springfield on Saturday. The care attention and detail the owners put into making everyone feel relaxed and at home was evident from the time you drive up. My first VRBO experience did not disappoint! Amazing house

Felt like home
We enjoyed our family time together. The home provided all the cooking essentials for making meals and our Easter prime rib dinner with plenty of seating with two dining tables. The open kitchen family room area was great for playing games and having everyone together. There was enough private space for everyone’s sleeping accommodations and family room plus game room for fun activities. The neighborhood, yard, patio and jacuzzi were all beautiful landscaped for our outside enjoyment. We will definitely look forward to staying again when all our family can meet up for another visit to see elderly grandparents.

Best VRBO I’ve ever rented
This is such a beautiful home. Spotless Clean Tons of extra stuff to use in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable The hot tub is wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better home and the owners worked with us on a late checkout (for a fee) which was great. Already making plans to reserve again next year. The house was lovely and met all our needs. Great place for gathering with the kids and grandkids.
Each year we rent through VRBO for a week long family reunion at Thanksgiving. This year we picked this location as fairly central for all our children and their families. Our Turkey Palooza 2020 was a little different as we would be quarantining at the house - and this house made that very easy with all it offered. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare large family meals, even Thanksgiving dinner. The large yard was great for all the grandkids to run off some steam and the basement game room kept their indoor activities contained to just a portion of the home for easier cleanup. The owners were great and quick to respond to any questions or needs. The only issue is with VRBO returning our damage deposit. The owner released our damage deposit the day after we left (11/22) and VRBO confirmed this on one of our calls to them. Apparently VRBO holds on to that refund for as long as possible, it is now 12/14 and we are still waiting. Originally VRBO said it would be returned BY 12/13. Another call to VRBO today and they now say they initiated the return to our bank account on 12/13 (weeks after the owner released it) and we should see it in our account by 12/18 which is almost a month after the owner told VRBO to return it to us. Again, the house and grounds was lovely and the owners are friendly and easy to work with. Well worth the rental!

This property was optimal for the 12 women staying here. The home was inviting, everyone was happy with their room accommodations and of course with the wonderful pool and jacuzzi. The views from every direction were lovely, the landscaping was impeccably kept and everything you would need from a cook’s kitchen, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, bathroom essentials provided and not a detail has been overlooked.
